MUSIC

For many years Rebecca Coplin’s passion

has been worship and she loves using God’s

gift of music as an expression of her love for

Jesus. Her Lord has met her on the hard

pages in her life, and His restoration is

evident in her years of worship. She is

organist at Village Bible Church and feels

honored that God would allow her to express

her adoration to Him through this medium.

Her heart and dominant call from God is

particularly expressed in ministry to women

in Bible study and song.

Hostess of Hilarity

Dr. Essie Belle” (aka Darlene Phillips of Hot Springs

Village, AR) is a monthly attraction at the Morning

Connection (affiliated with Christian Women’s Clubs and

sponsored by Stonecroft Ministries.) The “Doctor” is a

certified “Non-DE-dope” which means she is a NON-DE-

greed Doctor Of Practically Everything. She shares tips

on a vast array of subjects in a delightfully funny way. Dr.

Essie Belle is just one of a variety of characters that

Darlene ‘becomes’ and is a popular feature at many HSV

churches and clubs.

SPEAKER

Dr. Polly Brown, a licensed professional counselor and

psychologist, will be focusing on practical ways to

improve your emotional health and outlook on life. Polly,

now retired and living in HSV, was in private practice in

Dallas for more than twenty years. She is a writer of Bible

study curriculum materials published by LifeWay

Christian Publishing and is the author of How To Guide

Adults. She also wrote a monthly column for Mature

Living Magazine for more than ten years. Her

straightforward approach to dealing with life issues will

encourage you to move forward.
