The coming Uni ted Europe that i s

described in Revelation 17 as the beast

It
will be a union of ten nations, dicta-

that will give their power and
allegiance to a supreme authority, They
will last until the second co min g of Jesus

Notice that

will be under the direction of a great
false church. In Ephes ians

used to signify a church.
The coming union wil l be a revival
of FASClSM and N A Z I S M . Because this

Now notice what God says through
the prophet Isaiah about Babylon: I

didst show them no mercy; upon the
ancient hast thou v e r y heavily laid thy

Gottwald had
to
find somcone to blame
for the corruption in Czechoslovakia.
Since several of his Communist oppo-
nents were Jews, he perceived it would
suit his purpose to arouse anti-Semitism
among the people. Although only a few
Jews were Communists, the remaining
chousands are mostly business men. It
was
a
simple matter to propagandize the
workers into believing that the Commu-
nist Jews were collaborating with A mer-
ican capitalists and Jewish business men
the world over. This lie was intended to
cement Gottwalds hold on the masses
more firmly and make him appear
as
a
fr iend of the people.
It is
also
part of a direct a t tempt on
the part of M oscow to woo the Moslems
and keep Palestine and the Middle East
in turmoil. Stalin is trying his best to
divide and weaken the West so that he
can finally seize the world.

This s t ruggle for power wi thin the
Communis t ranks is far more ominous
than most
of
you realize.
It
is destined
to remake the map
of
Europe-and of
America
Th e mysterious controversy in Czech-
oslovakia is essentially between Com-
munist g c v e r n m e n t leaders and those
who control the
p a r ~ y .
Dictator Got t -
wald, the head of the governmenr,
emerged supreme. Rudolf Slansky, the
Secretary General of the Czech Commu-
nix Pa r ty and a close friend
of
Stalin
perished on the gallows along with ten
co-defendants.
But why should Slansky, who always
followed the party line from Moscow,
now be del ivered up by Stal in to Dic-
tator Gottwald? It was Gottwald and
not Slansky who often deviatcd from
the party and was accused of
NATION-
ALISM.
Here is what happened behind the
sceiies. S d i n k c e w t r o ub l e w as b r ew -
ing. No t daring to r isk th e loss of Czech-
oslovakias industrial p otential, he sent
a
representative to Prague to settle the
differences and ke ep the coun try behind
the Iron Curtain. Gottwald told him that
Czechoslovakia was in such serious
trouble that unless the Soviet would per -
mit a l imited nationalism, the country
could not be depended upon to support
Russia.
Stalin had to face realit ies. H e knew
he couldnt force the people to increase
economic and military aid while their
living standards sank lower and lower.
Got twald promised to keep product ion
at its present level so long
as
Stalin
al-
lowed
Czech
Communis ts to run the
country the way they wanted. The Rus-
sian dictator saw that his most gractical
choice was to accept the nationalistic at-
cicude of Gottwald and so Slansky had
to be eliminated.
Once again prophecy is being ful-
filled. NATIONALISM IS

SIAN-CONTROLLED EUROPE AND IS DES-
TINED
TO
BREAK THE IRON CURTAIN
Titos Yugoslavia has already escaped.
And now Gottwalds Czechoslovakia is
developing a nationalistic spirit . At the
present, Gottwald is content to string
along with Moscow. One might call his
brand of Comm unism controlled Tito-
ism-limited deviatio n from rhe abso-
lute rule of Moscow.
As
long as Gottwald keeps delivering
the goods to Russia, and as long as
there are scapegoats to confess plotting
against the people, the masses will yield
to the Czech dictators contro l and re-
main behind the Iron Curtain. But when
he cant keep production at i ts present
level, and resentment against Russia
builds up, there will be serious trouble.
How

Affect Europe
Th e new administ ra tion in W ashing-
ton is already planning a number of
vital changes in foreign policy for east-
wn Europe . U p to now thc policy
of
the government has been to
contdin
Russia-to keep her from spreadin g.
Our leaders have been on the defensive,
lt t t i i ig
Russia
make the first moves, and
then trying to block her. The conflicts
in Korea and French Indo-China are a
dire ct result of th is fruitles s policy.
Now all this is going to be changed.
Th e new Secretary of State, John Foster
Dulles, has a new policy planned which
will
roll hnrk
the Iron Curtain.
H e intend s to dislocate by
peaceful
measures the internal structure of the
Soviet Union. Through propaganda,
the rncuuragement
of
resistance and the
help of Radio Free Europe,
o u r
new ad-
ministration plans to liberate the coun-
tries of eastern Europe by peaceful
means.
Though i t may take a few years,
prophecy sh o ws thiJ p,olicy will succeed
There is to arise in Europe a union
of
ten nations-dictatorships-that will re-
store the Roman Empire for the last
t ime. (Rev. 17:12-14.) Since there are
not

antidemocratic nations in
Europe to form this union, some must
inevitably be liberated from behind the
Iron Cu rtain.

actually born in HUMAN flesh? Or .
was he born of a divine mother , immac-
ulate ly conceived? W h at d oes the Bible
teach on this vital subject?
W e cannot know the answers to these
questions until we first realize just what
--or who-is God. Is Go d a Pe rso n. .
a n Essence . . . or only a Principle or
an Idea?
Th e word G od is gross ly misunder-
stood. Men have always liked to create
God in thei r own im age by put t ing
their own interpreta t ion on the meaning
of the word Go d. Here-from the
Bible
is
the real meaning of this word.
In Genes is 1 :
1
t he or ig ina l Hebrew
word translated G od is Elohim , th e
plural form of the Hebrew word El
or Eloah meaning mighty one. This
wo rd is plural-it me ans MORE THAN
ONE.
However ,
it
is not
a
plural l ike
boys or gi r ls but ra ther a un i-plural word
l ike church
or
family. Ther e is one G od,
but co mpo sed of MORE THAN ONE MEM-
BER.
Scr ip ture Revea l s

P e r s o n
First, lets read Genesis 1:26 which
says wh at? Rea d it
And God said, Let
US
make man in
O U R image, after OUR l ikeness
. .
Do you think God was ta lking to
Himse l f? Not i ce wha t God cont inues
to say, And the Lord Go d said, Behold
the man is become as one of
us
to
know good and evil . Not ice it-
God said . . t he man
is
become as
O N E of
us
God could not have
said O N E of us
if
there were only one
person composing God.
Now, for the final clincher, lets turn
over to 1 Samuel 4 : 8 . The Phi l is t ines
had heard a great
c r y
which went up
f rom the camp of the Hebrews when
the ark of God had entered the camp
. and they were afraid-so read on.
Woe unio us w l i o shall

These are the Gods that smote the
Egypt ians wi th a l l the plagues in the
wilderness. That certainly finishes it-
THESE AR E THE GODS Meaning plural
-not one person, but more than one,
fc rming and compos ing God who i s

Is
God a
T r i n i t y ?
If
the family
of
God has more than
one member does the Bible reveal just
how many persons are in this family?
Is it a trinity composed of three mem-
bers-Father, Son and Holy Gho st?
T o begin wi th , t he word Ghos t
should be t rans la ted Spir it . W he n the
Ki ng Jame s version of the Bible was
translared in
1611,
people firmly be-
lieved in ghosts. Due to this fact, the
words which should have been trans-
la ted Holy Spir i t were t rans la ted H oly
Gho st, thus g iving this m ost sacred
word a wrong connotat ion.
Christ himself, in unmistaka ble words,
reveals just how many persons there are
in the family
of
God.
No
man ( o r
person) knoweth the Son but the Fa-
rher; nei ther knoweth any man the Fa-
ther save the Son and he to whomsoever
the Son will reveal him. (M att .
:
7.)
How many persons ment ioned? Only
two, the Father and the Son. If there
were another mem ber of th e Godhead,
he would certainly know both the Father
and the Son, would he n ot?
N ow consider-is Chr ist the Son of
G o d ?
As
he is the Son of the Person he
called the Father, and if the Holy Spir-
it is a separate person, he couldnt be the
son of the Holy Spir i t could he? And
yet your Bible plainly says that before
Joseph and Mary came together
.
she was found with chi ld of the Holy
Ghosr . There it is
If the Holy Spirit
were a separate person in the family of
God, then Jesus is the son of THAT per-
son and NOT
of
the Father
The t ruth is that the Holy Spir i t i s
not one of the Persons of th e Godhea d,
but i s the substance of wh ich those who
are in t he G odhead a re composed . God
is u Spir i t . . ( J o h n 4 : 2 4 . ) There
is
only one Spirit which composes God
but God is a family of
m o w
than o n e
person. Just as we humans are composed
of flesh and blood (m ateri al substances)
so
the family of God is composed of
Spirit . . the Holy Spirit . Just as we
use the power of material muscle to
carry out o u r human plans so the family
of God
(
Elohini) uses the power of the
Holy S pir i t to carry out the d ivine plan.
If Jesus is now part of the family
of
God, when d id
he achieve
that status?
H o w J e su s B e c am e a S o n of God
Lets examine the statement made in
John 1
1.
In the beginning
was
the
Wo rd , and the Word was wi th God, and
the Word was God.
In
the original
Greek the
Word
is Logos which
me ans m e wh o spea cs-a spokesman-
one who personifies the very words of
God.
According to John 1 :3 , i t was the
W ord which m ade al l things . There-
fore he had to exist before anything else
( E p h .
3:9;
Col. 1:10-19). God created
al l things by Chris t , who employed the
power of the Holy Sp irit . Th e Father
gave the order to Chris t who spoke the
words which we re executed by the power
of the Holy Spirit .
Again-we read in Malachi 3 : 1. Be-
hold,
I
will send my messenger. . even
the messenger of the cov enant. A mes-
senger is one who brings
a
message-a
spokesman-a Logos.
W he n this promised Messenger came
he was called Jesus. That was his human
name just as John or George
or
James
might be your name. However whi le
your parents might have named you any-
thing that sounded good, there was a
reason for the name Jesus. The angel
told Joseph that he should call his name
Jesus because he should save his people
from their s ins (Mat t . 1 : 2 1 ) .
God always names people what they
are. Wh en the Devi l was a shining arch
angel his nam e was Lucifer which m eans
Light-bringer or Shining s tar of the
dawn. Wh en he rebelled, his name
was changed to fit his new character so

ancient Israel.
Bear in mind that ancient Israel was
not promised salvation at that t ime.
All the promises under the old covenant
were material, for this life (Lev.

Since those Israelites were not
con-

they could not understand spiritual
things. They were like most people
today. God dealt with them in a pzcrely
physical manner, punishing them for
their crimes.

How well calculated these judgments
are. They show evildoers the enormity
of sin and crime
A
Lesson f o r Us
Many people today take such things
as divorce and remarriage very lightly.
Their
human
reaJon sees very little
harm in it. So people are rushing to the
divorce courts to seek an easy way out
of any marital disagreement that may
arise. Thus, the home and family, which
are the foundations of all decent and
really happy society, are being under-
mined by millions
of
thoughtless, selfish,
misguided people.
Today,
God
calls divorce and remar-
riage adultery (Mark 10:2-12).
In an-
cient Israel adultery was punishable by
immediate death (Deut . 22 :
22
) .
This same provision to protect the
sanctity of the home and parental au-
thority
is
set forth in the law regarding
a
rebellious son. If he obstinately refused
to
obey his parents,
his
life was forfeited
( Deut . 2

Yes, but this prevented children from

their children.

Judges Respons ib le
to God
The laws in ancient Israel were not
to be carried out in accordance with
hum an reason and influenced by unjus-
tified anger. They were of God. In I1
Chronicles
19:4-7,
Jehoshaphat , the king
of Judah, made the
judges
realize they
were not judging for men, but f o r
G o d .
They were responsible to God alone
God promised to be with them, guid-
ing them in their decisions when they
were executing His laws.
So
we see that the judgments in Israel
were
NOT a
matter of men judging one
another according to human reason.
Rather, they were determined by the
laws f r o m God. And in carrying them
out , the judges were to be guided and
inspired
by
G o d , w e r e act ing under His
authority, and w ere responsible to H im
alone
These judgments were also given as
an
example
to other nations of the bless-
ings of a law-abiding society under God.

God warned Israel that if they refused

into two kingdoms,
every one
of the
nineteen kings of Israel refused ta en-

Lawlessness increased. Human reason
supplanted strict enforcement of Gods
laws. The nation was suffering terribly

Israel and Judah were never again

In Christs time, the Jews were living
in
a state of
subjection
to
the occupying
Roman armies. Henceforth, they, and
converted Christians, have lived in sub-
jection to the worldly governments and
rendered tribute to Caesar (Lu ke 20:
2 5 ) .
W h y t h e Ad m i n i s tr a t io n of the Sp i r i t
It was Gods purpose to replace th e
administration of death. It was only
to last till the seed should come. After
Israel and Judah were scattered and
driven into captivity, the administration
of Israels civil government was impos-
sible. There was no organized civil gov-
ern me nt in Israel-no law-enforcem ent
machinery. In Christs time, the Jews
were l iv ing under
a
Roman governor
and had no authority
to
administer
Gods civil laws.
At this t ime
God
sen t Chr i s t to in t ro-
duce a new administration-THE AD-
Why? Because the first administration
gave only death for disobedience. Hu-
man judges could not impart eternal
life, they could only minister death.
What was needed was a new adminis-
tration which could give pardon and
eternal life to those who repcntcd and
wanted to obey.
The p romise
of
the Holy Spirit-the
only hop e of etern al life-was give n to
all believers for the FIRST TIME (Acts

death penalty
for
sins, Christ, the Apos-
tles, and his min i s te r s today t each the
p e o p l e t h e w a y t o eternal lif,e. Christs
ministers adminis ter l i fe to mortal
man.
All
men are born mortal, subject to
sin. W e are in need of the H oly Spirit,
the begettal of eternal life. W e also need
to quit sinning-breaking Gods law.
W e need th e love that fulfills the law
( 1 John 5 :3 ; Rom. 5 :5 ; 1 3 : lO ) . Unless
we have that love which only the Holy
Spirit can give, we sin, and the wages
of s in i s dea th -(Romans 6 : 23 ) .
But what is sin Sin is the

is

Th e ministrat ion of death lasted

Notice that Christians are to have
Gods spiritu al law-the ten com ma nd-
ments-written in
their hear ts ,
no t on
tables of stone as under the old cove-
nant Paul shows right here that Gods
law is not abolished-that it is w ritten
not with ink, but with the Spirit of the
living God; not in tables of stone, but
in fleshly tables of the hear t (I1 Cor.
3 : 3 ) .
Go ds law is to be in our hearts-we
are to l i ve it by the power of Gods
Spirit.
The ten commandments were not
written on stones, nor abolished. Paul
says that they were on tables of stone,
but the laws for the admin is t ra t ion of
the death penalty
by civil judges were
engraven
w h o l o
~ t o n e s .
Since we by nature violate the ten

them. Christ died to pay
for
our sins.
He made it possible to receive the Holy
Spirit from the Father. His ministers are
to teach the people how to quit sinning
and to gain etern al life-by adm inister -
ing
or
teaching the people how to be
reconciled to
the
Father and receive the
Holy Spirit.
Di f ference Between Admin is t ra t ions
Now do you sce thc difference? An-
cient Israel under the Old Covena nt only
understood the letter of Gods law. Be-
ing unconverted, most
of
them didnt
even obey that. So God gave them civil
laws and prescribed punishments, or
judgments, based upon the prAcip1e.r
of H is spiritual law.
Israels judges punished transgressors
of this civil law code
by
fines and death.
Thus, it was called the administration
of death. It was necessary becausc Israel
was a nation of unconverted people.
However, i t
was
only to last till Christ
should come,
who would introduc e the
spiritual administration to reconcile
us
to God.
Today, Christians are to
forg ive
men
of
their trespasses (,Mat.
6: 14-15
1 W e
are not to avenge ourselves, but to rely
on Gods righteous judgment
to
punish
those who violate His laws
or
harm us
(Rom. 12:lS-21).
Not knowing anothers thoughts
or
intentions, it would be impossible to
judge or condemn another (M at.

:1-2
)
Authority of
Civil Government
Go d is perm itting the worldly govern-
ments to rule this world now to keep
order so we can live in peace. W e are to
be subject to the civil rulers, and to
realize that they hold their authority
f rom God
to
carry
out
the enforcemept
of law and order (Rom. 13 1-8).
No
nation is carrying out the right-
eous judgments of God, but it is His
will that they administer civil govern-
ment to maintain law and order. Chris-
tians are to pray that they will so rule
that we may lead quiet and peaceable
lives (
1
Tim. 2 : 1 -2 ) .
Th e Bible teaches that God has turned
over the task of civil government to
the unconverted people
of
this world-
until they learn that human government
cant bring peace and happiness-until
Christ returns to rule with us over all
nations with a rod of iron. W e who
overcome
this world will help rule. W e
will carry out G o d s g o v e r n m e n t and is
laws.
As Christians, we can have no part
in these worldly civil governments. Rath-
er, we are commanded not to be yoked
together in association with unbelievers
( I1 Cor. 6 : 1 4 . Christ said in John
lS :36 , My kingdom is mo t of

But are the .civil authorities sinning
when they condemn a criminal to death?
The Bible answer is that these men
are respons.able t o God for the way they
use their office. The apostle Paul said

The final clincher to this whole dis-

of
the immac-

Immaculate Conception a Fable
This doctrine teaches that M arys par-
ents were so perfect that God changed
them into
a
holy, sinless divine flesh. It
was while they were in this state that
Mary was conceived. If this were true,
then Mary was not composed of mortal
flesh as w e are.
In I1 John
7 ,
we find what God,
through His apostle, labels this idea:
For many deceivers are entered into
the world, who confess not that Jesus
Christ is come
in
t he flesh.
This
is a
deceiver and an antichrist. It is a doc-
trine of antichrist
Before Jesus was born in Bethlehem,
he was
a
member of the e ternal God-
head. When he was born he was a HU-
MAN being who could be tempted, suf-
fer, bleed and die (Hebrews 2 : 1 4 .
After his resurrection he was again an
immortal member of the family
of
God.
Yes-its all very easy to understand.
A lot of Bible quotatio ns and leng-
thy references are not necessary in or-

a clear picturc of the OVCI-

of
Bible Scripture. Rather a
summing up of the important points on
any one subject, adding the TOTAL to-

the other-that is the pro per way to
arrive at the answer.

teaches us clearly
and unmistakably that a far worse pun-

was visited on the fleshly Israelites. That

Now we can see plainly revealed how
Christ, as the World-Ruler, will stamp
out crime and lawlessness in all nations.
God says
I
change not. Christ is the
rame yesterday, today, and forever. H e
was the God of Israel who enforced
C A P I T A L PUNISHMENT in national,
fleshly Israel. The nations of this world
will become the kingdoms of Christ.
They will still be human, carnal, ruled
over by Christ and the saints then made

dom, or Family of God. There wi l l be

by Divine Ones, able to read human
minds and hearts. There will be no
escape for the guilty. There will be no
miscarriage of justice. Men will have
such FEAR to do wrong that crime will
disappear No one will fear thieves,
murderers, gangsters. There will be
PEACE
and SAFElr-and the only fear
will be the fear to break the law H u -
manity will come to realize the enormity
of sin, and will live the way of Gods
Laws of Love.
But we, whom God now calls to sal-
vation, are to teach Gods laws then, and
enforce them. Our life now
is
the train-
ing ground to educate and prepare us
for that grave responsibility and won-
derful opp ortuni ty.
Let us learn the lesson from these
examples that God intended, and quit
trying to use human reaJon to justify
our
wrong deeds. Then we will reap the
blessing of keeping Gods laws, and live
the abundant lives that He intended

that shall he also reap (Gal .

your eyes from Gods law. You spend

Do you think that reason will stand

the Bible teaches

God
himself will carry out that punishment
if you don t repent
If you havent done so already, youd
better take Peters advice to Repent,
and be baptized every one of you in the
name of Jesus Christ for t h e remission
of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of
the Holy Spir i t (Acts

Y O Uwill have to

of breaking
Gods law. You will need to be bap -

ingness to bury your old, disobedient
self. Then God will give you the Holy
Spirit , through which you will receive
the love to keep His law.
God loves you. He wants to give you
eternal life
But, in His wisdom, God has decreed
that you must first learn to live th e right,

Heres WHY this World
SUFFERS
by
Richard

W
RS,
misery, poverty and in-
justice; these are the chronicle
of this w orlds history. Chaos
blankets the world today, and
yet
it is all
a part of thc plan being worked our here
below by Almigh ty God , the Creator.
God did not create the earth and then
g o
off
and leave it
to
let man work his
way to his own destruction. Indeed he
has
a
plan that he is working out here
below and all of the wars and suffering
of mankind are
a
part
of
that purpose.
God has a thousand-year plan for his
coming rule on this earth, known
to
Bible students as the Mil lennium,
The
devil has his rhousand-year plan
too. The devil is known as the great de-
ceiver. One of his most cunning ways of
deceiving people has been to counterfeit
Gods teachings.
W H I C H I s t h e G o v e r n m e n t
of G o d , T o d a y ?
Some people believe that the govern-
ments of this earth are the governments
of God, or that a part icular go vernment
or
regime in power on earth today is
the t rue government of God. Th e Bible
says that Christ is to brin g G ods gov-
ernment to earth wi th him at his sec-
ond coming (Danie l
2 :
; uke
19:
1 2 ) .
The Mil lennium wil l be
a
thousand-
year reign o n earth by Christ as the King
of Kings,
as
the head of the governm ents
of this earth and the ruler of
all
man-
kind.
In this day and age when men have
departed so far from the ways of God
and have forgotten the meanings of his
laws which would lead
us
to a happy
life, they grope in the darkness to de-
vise
a
plan from their own m inds to end
the destructive conflicts and unhappi-
ness of t he ir fellow men.
Great scholars and scientists look at
the history of mank ind and, seeing all
of the suffering and woe that the gov-
ernments of men have brought to man,
philosophize to find a better way to rule
the earth and bring the peace that is
earnestly desired and sought after by so
many.
In their quest for
a
peaceful way of
life they leave ou t God-the only means
of bringing
a
TRUE peace to the earth.
T h e
reason
for [his is
rhar
chey see the
sorrow and misery that
religion
has
brought to men. They fail to see that
man has twisted the truth of the Eternal
God into something it was never meant
to be and thus caused his own suffering.
These Rel ig ions Are Not
Gods
Religions of this earth change their
doctrines and form to suit the societies
they serve. Christianity, H indu ism, Co n-
fucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Islamism
and the other largely followed religions
of the world have all changed a great
deal from their first conccption by their
founders. But, the greatest changes have
been made in Christianity. The differ-
ence between these other religions and
Christianity is that the others were
all
manufactured
by
men while Christianity
has become a perverted, degenerated,
paganized counterfeit of t h e original
t ruth of God our Creator.
True Christianity as taught in the
Bible and inspired by God was revealed
by
the

a
way
of life
here on the
earth at the
present time
to prepare one
for a life to come-living und er Christ
when he comes to take over the govern-
men ts of the earth.
Today many eminent scientists are
completely disgusted with religion. They
say that it imposes a code of l iving on
men that no man can hope to l ive up to,
therefore encouraging hypocrisy. They
say
that it is
a
belief in superstit ion,
fables and fairy tales which their science
discredits and proves impossible. But
only their
speculations
oppose th e Bible.
Actually the things these men of science
discover-when science is held pu re and
true and is not speculative-prove the
existence of God and prove the greatness
and glory of the laws he set in motion.
T h i s T h e y H a v e O v e r l o o k e d
There is one thing that our scientists
and economists who scoff at religion
have overlooked. Man
MUST HAVE
SOME
THING O R SOME ONE TO WORSHIP.
Adam w orshiped G od , then the devil,
but he worshiped some being of
a
higher
order than himself.
T h e scientists
who
belicvc in cvolu-
tion of mankind tell us that the remains
which they find of what they call pre-
historic men are accompanied by the re-
mains of i tems used in the worship of
some kind or kinds of god
or
gods. If
there is no such thing
as
a god-if man
has no need
of uiie
and there never was
a god who created the earth in the first
place then just where did t h e idea of a
god s tar t? W hy have men even from
earliest history worshiped g ods? Th e
truth is the Creator revealed Himself to
such men as Adam, Noah, Shem. Men
once had knowledge of G o d ( R o m .
1
2
1
) , but, rejecting His rule, degener-
ated into false conceptions and worship
of imaginary gods.
Again
the fact
is
that man
MUST
wor-
ship some being or some thing It is as
much
a
part of his nature as his eyes and
ears are a part
of
his physical makeup.
Within the past few generations the
world has seen the rise of these scientists
and economists who believe that religion
is the d o u w f a l l
of
man, holds him
back
and keeps him f rom social progress.
They see, for example, the unwillingness
of the Hindus to kill the monkeys which
ravage their crops yearly while thousands
are dying of starvation. T he re igious
belief is that they would blacken the
soul of an ancestor
if
they killed
the
sacred cows which would furnish meat
for the millions who die
of
starvation
every few years in oriental countries.
I g n o r a n t of t h e T r u e G o d
They see also the religious bigotry and
strife which has risen up within Chris-
tianity, die hypocrisy, error and self-
contradiction of those who profess to
know the teachings of the Bible. They
are disgusted with religion, say it im-
poses
a
code of living on men that no
man can hope to live up to, that i t is
a
belief in sup erstitio n, fables and fairy
tales which their science discredits and
proves impossible.
In their pseudo-super educated minds
they are able to see the error and fault
but are unable to replace
it
with the bar-
est truth because the error that they see
makes them throw religion out of their
minds altogether and discredit it com-
pletely.
Great scholars, liberal thinkers, and
able men keep philosophizing on this
and that way to bring pcace to the
earth, leaving God entirely out of their
plans.
Such a man was Marx who devised
Communism. Marx
was
not
a
mad fiend
who wanted to enslave the world
