Good Samaritan Regional Health Center believes that healing is more than science. The hospital has specific areas dedicated to comfort and relaxation that support this theme, called The Art of Nature. All through the hospital patients can view artwork that was commissioned by regional artists. Throughout the interior of the hospital, art provides positive distractions. Each unit boasts custom graphics based on nature and spiritual healing.

McCarthy Building Companies - the project’s general contractor - rented warehouse space close to the jobsite, where both headwalls and panelized patient restrooms were constructed. This resulted in increased productivity and quality, as well as significant cost and time savings. The headwalls were installed in about 10 minutes and restrooms in 25 minutes, as opposed to traditional field installation which can take weeks.

The project team used Bluebeam® document control for collaborative document management and a paperless workflow. This minimized rework, reduced the project’s cost and improved overall project efficiency.
