The Main HouseThe Goodwood experience includes a tour of the main house, where the many owners resided from 1833-1990. The house includes many historical artifacts such as one of the resident’s World War Two Army uniform, as well as other private collections of fine furniture, porcelain, textiles, glassware, and art left over the years by different owners. Tiffany diamonds, Egyptian marble, and frescoed ceilings are things one can expect to see inside the Goodwood home.

The GardensAlso part of Goodwood are the gardens. Originally planted by the original owner Hardy Croom, the gardens have been tended to and expanded by each owner. They have since been restored and now include Camellias, Ash and Ornamental Magnolias, Azaleas, Sago Palms, and centuries old Oak Trees

Upcoming EventsGoodwood is having their annual Pigmania which is hosted by celebrity chef Art Smith on Friday April 24, 2015. It celebrates the legacy of Nella Schomburger’s southern hospitality and proceeds go to the Goodwood foundation.
