Gosford Park and Middle Ride Family Hubs offer a wide range of

services for children up to the age of 19 years old and their

families including:

Family Support

We work in partnership with families, supporting them to get the most out of

family life and help them to:

Access support and advice from other organisations to help with housing

problems, debts, benefits, work, training and much more

Get ready to have a baby and to be the best parent they can

Ensure their children are safe, healthy, happy and ready for school

Support their child’s speech and language development and school

readiness

* Family Hub Sessions

Baby First (0-12 months) is a group for parents/carers and their babies

and provides advice and guidance on early parenting, breastfeeding, safe

sleep, weaning and many more topics.

Learn with your Toddler (18-30 months) is a group for parents with

children who are mobile and supports parents to prepare their child for

Nursery and/or School.

Parents in Mind is a listening based peer support group for pregnant mums

and those with a baby under one year who are facing mental health or emotional

SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death charity) group meets every five weeks at the

Gosford Park Family Hub. Please call 024 76 788489 for more information.

St Catherine’s Church in Acorn Street, Stoke Aldermoor offers a range of activi-

ties including a family cooking club, citizens advice, foodbank and stay and play ses-

sions.

St John the Divine Church in Robin Hood Road, Willenhall offers a number of

activities for families including stay and play sessions.

Willenhall One Stop Shop is held at the Stretton Primary School in Willenhall

every other Thursday and provides information, advice and guidance around learn-

ing, work, training, benefits and childcare.

Well Baby Clinics provide families with an opportunity to meet their local

health visiting team, have their babies weighed and seek advice and support.

pects of childcare, including activities and education, as well as the range of other

Services offered by the Family Hubs and their Partners:

Aldermoor Life Centre in Round House Road, Stoke Aldermoor hosts a number

of activities including Adult Education courses and a Family First Learning Together

course, delivered by the Gosford Park Family Hub, which is aimed at families with

children under 5.

Autumn Fun is a 4 week course for parents and pre-school children delivered by

the Family Learning Team and offers a range of fun activities, stories, songs and

Coventry Independent Advice Service offers free, professional advice on a

range of issues including benefits, claims, money, debt and housing. For more

ESOL is a course to help parents learn to speak and read English and achieve a

qualification. Adults must enrol with Adult Education by attending an enrolment

Infant Feeding Team provides support to help you decide how to feed your baby.

They offer antenatal visits in your own home, postnatal visits and breastfeeding

Integrated ‘Acting Early’ Teams

Acting Early teams operate within Family Hubs and are made up of staff from

Social Care, Health Visiting, Midwifery and Children and Family First

colleagues. Family Hubs are dedicated to improving the health outcomes for

children and their families.
