GOTAS DE FE DRUPS OF FAITH
Mi ramo de flores a la Santísima Virgen María
El Santo Rosario nos lleva a tiempos antiguos en la Iglesia y se dice que se origina hacia el año 800, en su forma actual lo tenemos desde 1214 cuando de manera milagrosa la Virgen se apareció a Santo Domingo de Guzmán y se lo entregó como un arma poderosa para la conversión de los herejes y otros pecadores de esos tiempos. Ya en 1365 se organizó el rezo del Rosario como una forma de meditar hechos de la vida de Jesús y María, organizados en grupos de 10 Ave Marías cada uno, quedando así establecido a partir del año 1571. El Santo Rosario, cuyo rezo ha sido solicitado de manera puntual por la Virgen en cada una de sus apariciones milagrosas, es considerado como la oración perfecta porque se meditan los principales misterios o hechos de la vida de Jesús y María, su Santísima Madre, plasmada en las Sagradas Escrituras. A través del Rosario, todos están invitados a identificarse cada vez más con Jesucristo, a vivir de su amor, a serle fieles en todo momento, a agradecerle tantos dones como recibimos de su divina
bondad y a descubrir su presencia salvadora en medio de las pruebas de la vida. La Virgen ama el rezo del Rosario porque nos prepara y nos lleva directamente al Amor de los amores, al Señor de su Corazón Inmaculado, su Hijo Divino, para que se vuelva el Señor de nuestros corazones. Nos abandonamos en sus brazos maternales y Ella nos conduce a Dios. Durante el mes de octubre se nos invita a rezar el rosario solos o en familia, el 7 de octubre la Iglesia celebra el día del Rosario. Que hermoso sería si este mes de octubre empezáramos una nueva costumbre en nuestras familias; rezar juntos una década del rosario todos los días, no nos toma más de cinco minutos y nos puede dar horas de tranquilidad y paz en nuestros hogares. “Que nuestra madre y su Santo Hijo les bendiga”.

The Virgin loves the prayer of the Rosary because it prepares us and leads us directly to the Love of loves, to the Lord of her Immaculate Heart, her Divine Son, so that he becomes the Lord of our hearts. We abandon ourselves in her maternal arms and she leads us to God. During the month of October, we are invited to pray the rosary alone or as a family, on October 7 the Church celebrates the day of the Rosary. How beautiful it would be if this October we started a new custom in our families; praying together a decade of the rosary every day takes us no more than five minutes and can give us hours of tranquility and peace in our homes.
