'Subject: Tentative Seniority of Sub-Inspectors of the J&K Excise and State Taxes Department as on 09.12.2019.

Reference: l.EC/Adm-Seniority-S.I/6810-11 Dated 19.11.2019 from Excise Commissioner, J&K.

2. No. 218-Adm/1646/CST dated 25'/11/2019 from Commissioner State Taxes, J&K

Whereas; the Final Seniority List of Sub-Inspectors of the J&K Excise. and State Taxes Department (Subordinate) Service was issued vide Government Order No.192-FD of 2017 dated 15.06.2017; and

02 Whereas, the seniority list of the Sub-Inspectors of Excise and State Taxes Department is required to be updated by excluding the names of officials, who have been either promoted to the next higher post substantively or have retired on superannuation, and including those who have been appointed to the post of Sub-Inspectors by direct requirement or promotion.

03. Whereas, in terms of .the J&K Civil Services (De-centralization & Recruitment) Act, 2010 and the Rules made there under, as the Sub-Inspector is the Divisional Cadre post, separate Tentative seniority lists of Sub-Inspectors borne on the respective Divisional Cadres of Jammu and Kashmir have been drawn up strictly as per the eligibility of the officials and on the basis of inputs received from Excise & State Taxes Department:

04. Now, therefore, a Tentative Seniority List of the following Sub-Inspectors (Cadre wise) forming Annexure-A (Divisonal Cadre Kashmir) and Annexure-B (Divisional Cadre Jammu) of the J&K Excise and State Taxes Department (Subordinate) Service, as it stood on 09.12.2019, is hereby notified for the purpose of inviting objections, if any, from the concerned within a period of 21 days from the date of issuance of this notice. After the expiry of the said period, no objections shall be entertained. The placement of officials in the Tentative Seniority lists is subject to the confirmation on their successful completion of probation period.
