Government Polytechnic, Chappar, Charkhi Dadri

This institute was started in 2017 and is the only Government Polytechnic in this District. The institute has a lush

green campus and has spacious & ventilated class rooms, well equipped workshop & laboratories, drawing halls,

conference room etc... The institute is affiliated to Haryana State Board of Technical Education and its all courses

are approved by AICTE.

WELFARE AND MOTIVATIONAL SCHEMES

Various schemes for welfare of girl candidates, SC candidates, Topper of Haryana Government Schools and

Economically weaker section are being implemented.

There is 25% horizontal reservation for Girl Students in all Technical Institutions/ Polytechnics of Haryana.

No tuition fee is charged from girls admitted in Govt./ Govt. Aided Polytechnics.

Reimbursement of tuition fee to the SC Students.

Benefits to the Haryana Govt. School Toppers (HGST) in admissions.

Benefits to Economically Weaker Section in admissions through Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme.

“Go Green’’ slogan was raised and under it more than 400 different variety of ornamental & fruit

plants has planted in the campus of the institute under the guideline of Dr. Vikas Gotan Principal

in july-august 2021 season of monsoon.

Dignities of near by villages planted various plants like Rudraksh, Bottel-palm, Belgiri, Mango,

Guava, Geloye (Amrit-bel) etc plants in the institute by showing their own interest in plantation

under “Van-Mohotsave” celebration. Forest dept. Distt. Charkhi-Dadri visited the institute campus

on 10th august 2021 planted Panch-Vati under govt. scheme.

Others Activities:

Traffic centre was set up in the Institute to create awareness regarding growing accidents on roads by educating

students about the traffic rules and make youth responsible towards safe driving.

Poster Making Competition, Heena Design Competition,

Rangoli Making Competition was organized at institute

level.

Quiz Competition held at institute level.

Annual function cum Alumni meets

The Annual function cum Sports meet was organised on dated 3rd and 4th March 2020. The Annual Day forms an

integral part of our institute activities. It is an occasion of celebration, felicitation, feast and festivity when students

present not only their wonderful performances but also receive honours for their curricular and Co-Curricular

Activities. Students participated enthusiastically in all cultural events. More than 100 Alumni graced the occasion

with their presence.

Training and Placement Cell

The Institute has full fledged Training & Placement cell which aims at providing 100% placement to our students.

This institute has excellent placement record and the students are placed in various reputted organisations such as

Larsen & Toubro, WELSPUN ENTERPRISES LTD. HITACHI, HELLA INDIA etc.

The institute has connected with various companies/ industries/ organizations and have good association in aspect

of placement, expert lectures, industrial training etc...
