Seal of Approval

• Many of the Grab® line products are approved by the prestigious Carpet and Rug Institute. The CRI Seal of Approval is awarded to carpet cleaning products which pass stringent tests administered by an independent, accredited laboratory.

• A growing number of carpet mills have based their carpets warranties on the fact that they should only be cleaned with products that carry the CRI Seal of Approval. Grab® is proud to be in this category.

The New Safe Standard

• In the carpet cleaning industry:– 75% of cleaning companies use a wet method in carpet

maintenance. – The typical wet method of cleaning carpets that most people

are familiar with has been known to be a contributing factor in mold growth that then leads to hazardous bacteria and fungi.

– A wet carpet also needs an average of 24 hours to dry, making that part of a building temporarily unusable.

• Grab® has been formulated to work in a dry environment, with the goal of:– Prohibiting the growth of mold and other harmful

contaminates, and keeping the building usable.

Grab Dry®

• While there are several products in the Grab line, the signature is Grab Dry®.

• Grab Dry® is a dry cleaning system for carpeting that is biodegradable, non-toxic and non-moisture producing, yet tremendously effective.

Non Moisture Producing

• Grab Dry® is a dry cleaning encapsulation method of cleaning carpeting without the aid of water or other harmful liquid-based chemicals.

• It can take upwards of 24 hours for a carpet to dry using a traditional wet cleaning method.

• During that 24 hour period, mold has its chance to grow in the carpet, leading to any number of health-related issues such as sick building syndrome.

Low Moisture Carpet Cleaning

• This process results in water conservation and less contaminated waste water.

• Aside from its environmentally-conscious formulation, the actual process of dry cleaning carpeting saves valuable resources.

• Using the process of Grab Dry®, building owners can conserve water and cut down on harmful waste.

Industry Facts

• A leading cause of mold in any setting is moisture. Dry cleaning a carpet removes the hazards of mold growing in the carpet.

• Carpets cleaned using a wet method take an average of 24 hours to dry, prohibiting foot traffic for that time period and also creating an environment for mold growth and rapid re-soiling of the carpet.

• An antimicrobial agent is a compound that kills or inhibits the growth of mold, mildew and other odor causing bacteria and microorganisms. Two main microorganisms commonly found in carpet are bacteria and fungi, commonly caused by moisture.
