We know that…
People who volunteer give more money.
“A 2008 study by the Center for Responsible Business at the University of Berkeley showed that people who volunteer time are more likely to give more money than those that were only asked to donate funds.”

•They gave before it finally clicked, they get it when you see it first hand, and it is so much easier to give
•Because employees make the connection between their dollars and how their local community is helped, the employees then understand the importance of giving to United Way Community Investment, thus increasing campaign dollars
