Moving Day

Moving day can carry many emotions. The objects can show the emotion, just like the people. My mom, dad, aunt, uncle, and myself will be pictured moving things from house to house and room to room. You will notice in each photo, the people might not mean to show a certain emotion, but un-derneath they could really be feeling it. For instance, my mom tried not to show her stress, but it could be pictured perfectly by her explaining something about the houses. There are 22 pictures that re-ally capture how you feel during a move. Some emotions will contrast as well. For in-stance, there are some photos that capture true orginization and a whole other page of unorginzation. This shows how much con-trolled caious there was.

Welcome Home

StressedSo many boxes and supplies being moved, no wonder

my aunt seems stressed. She’s not even the one moving! Every single thing will become more stressful

during a move.

Orginized

This is one of the emotions that you not only feel, but is portayed by objects. The boxes are in perfect order and are labeled. Bowls and pictures are evenly stacked to portray how this emotion is needed during a move, at least for my

family.

This I would say is by far the most easily recognized emotion in our family during a move. Whether it’s simply moving a box, or as complicated as set-ting up the new wifi and cable, the emotion is seen and felt almost everywhere.

You feel emptiness leaving your childhood home. Another way to repre-sent emptiness are the rooms, closets, and showers being empty and ready to be spruced up. Emptiness can be exciting in a way though. An empty room has endless possibilities.

Exciting

No matter how many things go wrong, just the idea of a whole new house to decorate and make your own makes you excited. My aunt has a huge smile on her face because she is excited for us to move

into a new house. My mom walking into a new beginning is just exciting in itself.

Worried

and

Nervous

Who isn’t a little scared about a move? You could be nervous about getting your daily tasks done, going to work, and mak-ing sure you don’t forget any boxes at your old house. Everyone worries about something different, but everyone definielty has felt it during a move.

As in order as you want to be, many times you fing your-self goofing off because you need to. If everyone is so in order you can’t have fun with any event. Also, like said before, a move is controlled caious. That caious is repre-sented by unorginzation. Many times there are things scattered everywhere because it just happens.
