Is Thanksgiving Over?
As we paused to celebrate a Dayof Thanksgiving, one would as-sume that because of the exampleof our forefathers-and today wehave so much-that we would bean extremely thankful people.
But, as we all know, that is notalways the case.
Its a bit sad, that we sometimesdetermine our thanksgiving onthe basis of how much money wehave, is our retirement safe, andthat we have a fancy new car.
The truth is that all of thesethings may change at any time.They may drift awayor burn
upor someone may steal them.The only thing we have for sureis our relationship with the Lord,and that, in the end, is the onething for which we should beMost Thankful for. Not just onThanksgiving Day, but each andevery day of the year.
Nothing says it like Psalm 100:
Shout for joy to the Lord, all theearth,
Worship the Lord with gladness;come before Him with joyfulsongs.
Know that the Lord is God. It isHe who made us, and we are His;
We are His people, the sheep of His pasture.

How are y'all?! I hope you had a niceThanksgiving. We had a very good timewith three other missionary families in thearea. The power stayed on enoughthrough out the day to get all of our foodcooked and we even found a turkey tocook in town. We are blessed! Speaking of being blessed, we just received. I justwant to say thank you for the money youand the kids at Grace sent. My Mom sentus a big box of good stuff and we reallylook forward to using it all. Crisco for pies,

We will pray that God blessesyou in return for your kindness and gen-erosity. Please tell the kids I wrote andthat I hope and pray they will grow in thetruth and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.There is NO better place to be than in hissafe and loving arms.Love you!
