Mr. Leslie Odom Jr.Author and Tony Award winner

Tony and Grammy Award-winning performer Leslie Odom Jr. has taken the entertainmentworld by storm––on Broadway, television, film and in music.

Best known for originating the role of Aaron Burr in the smash hit Broadwaymusical Hamilton, Odom earned a 2015 Drama Desk Award nomination and won the TonyAward for Best Actor in a Musical and a Grammy Award as a principal soloist on the originalcast recording.

This spring, Odom added author to his resume with the release of his book, Failing Up: HowTo Take Risks, Aim Higher, And Never Stop Learning, in which he offers motivational storiesfrom his life to inspire others to unlock their potential and make their dreams come true.

Most recently, Odom performed a solo cabaret-style concert at Jazz at Lincoln Center thatwas filmed as part of PBS’s Emmy Award-winning series, Live From Lincoln Center, and pre-miered on April 24, 2018.

He made his Broadway debut in Rent and starred in the stage adaption of Leap of Faith. Off-Broadway, Odom appeared in Venice and the original staging of Hamilton. He also starredopposite Lin-Manuel Miranda and Karen Olivo in the 2014 City Center Encores! revival ofJonathan Larson’s Tick, Tick ... Boom!

In film, Odom recently starred alongside Johnny Depp, Daisy Ridley, Penelope Cruz,Michelle Pfeiffer and Judi Dench in Kenneth Branagh’s film, Murder on the Orient Express.Previous films include Red Tails, a historical drama executive produced by George Lucas andco-starring Terrence Howard, Cuba Gooding Jr. and David Oyelowo. On television, Odomstarred on the cult-classic musical drama series, Smash, and had recurring roles on NBC’s Law& Order: Special Victims Unit and CBS’ Persons of Interest and CSI: Miami.

A Grammy Award-winning recording artist, Odom’s self-titled debut album, originallyreleased in 2014, charted at #1 on the Billboard Jazz chart on its re-release two years later. In2017, his holiday album, Simply Christmas, hit #1 on iTunes and Billboard Jazz charts.

Odom currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Nicolette Robinson, and theirnewborn daughter.
