Our company’s (Grafica Flextronica) saga in export market continues with the appointment of two more overseas representatives in South Africa and Vietnam. And, few more new representatives would also be appointed in the coming months. I welcome National Screen And Digital Supplies (NSDS), South Africa, and Pham Van Duc (David Pham), Vietnam as our new Representatives. We have now made a significant presence in the global market merely on merits of quality of our machines, education/ training through DMI and technical support. On the one hand our company was able to attract right distributors to market its products globally, and on the other, many distributors feel they are joining hands with a right manufacturer, requiring no further introduction or references. While many printing companies in India are indulging in imports, Grafica is aggressively exporting Made in India screen printing machines even to developed countries such as USA, Europe, UK, Russia, Middle East, etc. So, do I need to say ‘Grafica is a growing global company in screen printing machinery segment? The flash-back photo gallery being published in the following pages gives the glimpses of Grafica’s global presence. Meanwhile, let me thank all our customers in India and abroad for reposing faith in brand Grafica. We doubly thank all our Indian and overseas Representatives who willingly accepted Grafica as a trusted supplier of screen printing machines for their respective markets. nano-prinTag showcased at Sign Africa Regional Expo, Durban

National Screen and Digital Suppliers (NSDS), Grafica's newly appointed South Africa representative, showcased nano-prinTag (2 colour) at Sign Africa held on March 18 – 19, 2015 in Durban International Convention Centre. As reported by NSDS officials, nano-prinTag attracted a large number of visitors who witnessed live demonstrations. NSDS had also pictorially displayed Grafica's nano-prinTex and other screen printing machines and allied products. The Expo had featured all aspects of wide format digital printing, garment decoration, screen printing and signage.

Continuing its march towards global presence, Grafica recently appointed National Screen And Digital Supplies (NSDS), as its representative for the Southern African region. Commenting on the development, Patrick Nolan, one of the senior officials at NSDS, said, “We are very excited about offering Grafica machinery into the growing market of South Africa.” The enthusiasm of NSDS is such that they have already planned to showcase Grafica's machines in at least two major international exhibitions in South Africa, including FESPA-Africa, wherein they would be showcasing Grafica's screen printing machines. These plans are in addition to the recent exhibition, viz, Sign Africa held on

March 18 – 19, 2015 at Durban International Convention Centre, South Africa. Recalling his first tryst with Grafica, Patrick says: “I had visited the FESPA Eurasia trade show in Istanbul, Turkey, where I saw Grafica's nano-prinTag, DTG tagless label screen printing machine which was displayed by their Turkey distributor – Fatih Tekstil. Back in South Africa, I got in touch with Grafica for possible alliance. Rest is history … we are now moving in direct direction by showcasing their machine for first time in South Africa, at Sign Africa'15.” “With our new association with India's Grafica Flextronica, we wish to offer the best possible range of screen printing presses,

allied equipment and service solutions to our already existing large customer base in South Africa and neighbouring markets. We look forward to working together with Grafica,” concludes Patrick.

Grafica has recently appointed Pham Van Duc, as Representative for Vietnam. With this appointment, Grafica's overseas representative count has reached to 12. Other representatives include: USA, Russia, UK, UAE, Turkey (two representatives for Textile and graphics machinery), France, Bangladesh, Nepal, South Africa, and Chile.

Set up in year 2006, Pham Van Duc is engaged in printing, repairing and maintenance of

printing machinery. It employs 10 people.

“I came to know about Grafica Flextronica in 2014 while searching on the net. At first I was impressed with Grafica's comprehensive website. I decided to take up Grafica's distributorship because I found that their machines are perfect for our market. Moreover, price iscompetitive and they offer excellent service. I came to the conclusion that there is a good

score for marketing their machines in Vietnam. Vietnam is a potential market for printing business because of the ongoing economic developments and availability of cheap manpower.

Grafica's nano-prinTag & Nano-Print plus showcased@ in Birmingham, Printwear & Promotion'15 UK

Grafica's UK representative – Sanco Technology Ltd, has successfully showcased nano-prinTag and Nano-Print plus at the Printwear & Promotion'15 exhibition held on 22 – 24 February 2015 in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Under the banner of Yorkshire-based Global Print Solutions, Sanco Technology had held live demo of screen

printing tagless labels on Grafica's nano-prinTag and heat transfers on Nano-Print Plus. Through a pre-event press release posted on Exhibition website, Sanco had also garnered wide coverage for nano-prinTex and nano-prinTag.

Printwear & Promotion'15 was a trade-only event for garment and promotional product decorators

and retailers. According to the organisers, the event had over 135 exhibitors, including about 60 clothing brands and clothing distributors to the printwear industry, in addition to all of the major decoration equipment and accessories suppliers covering direct to garment, transfer, sublimation, screen printing and embroidery. It was a one stop shop

for printers (screen, transfer and digital), embroiderers, retailers, and promotional product distributors. It provided an interactive environment for visitors, with many on stand product demonstrations to highlight print and embroidery decoration.

Clemson University, USA, graphics students learn process colour screen printing on two Nano-Print plus

“The first Nano-Print plus was installed in December 21, 2012. We started using it in January 2013. We bought another Nano-Print plus within a couple of months. Both Nano-Print Plus machines replaced two older (1987) machines. We wanted two alike machines for more efficient and consistent teaching.

“The Nano Plus is a unique hybrid of a clamshell and a 2 post pillar type press. Feature-wise we also liked it; no tilt to the screen so ink does not run down to one end, no need for air system, size of the press and the print area and safety features. I like how quiet they are and the precise nature of their operation. We were looking for a similar size to the machines was replaced. We also wanted a machine that did not require compressed air to operate.

About 100 a year will have the opportunity to use the press. The rest will run the other flatbed screen presses. The students will print color separations on Nano-Print plus. In my class they do their second year in screen printing project as a part of their 4 year degree, and the project is their first color separation.

Grafica has recently installed a Nano-Print plus and Nano-UV at Nu Print Ltd, Mauritius. This is a repeat order from Nu Print. Currently, the company's personnel are being trained in value addition by a DMI's expert.

They have been successfully using Grafica's Two Post Pillar, a semi automatic screen printing machine with auto take off system. The company had also bought complete screen making set up and UV curing machine, as a part of its 'value addition' venture. Nano-Print plus is being deployed as a part of their expansion project.

At FESPA-Munich, in June, 2010, Bhargav Mistry Managing Director of Grafica Flextronica, who is also a member of ASDPT, conducted a seminar jointly with Michel Caza, past president of FESPA and ASDPT. Bhargav was the first Indian to present a seminar in FESPA event. The topic was "The Future of Screen Printing Goes Thru Innovation", A comparison between Western and Asian Countries. The presentation was focused on how European countries are moving towards screen and how in Indian screen printing is moving with the latest trend. Bhargav enumerated on the developments taking place in India, how DMI was contributing to the growth of Indian screen printing industry.

Global Technical Seminar in Bangladesh -November 2014Around 250 professionals from Bangladesh garment industry attended a 'Global Technical Seminar' organized by Dhaka based Hyup Jin Group in Dhaka on November 14, 2014, in association with Grafica Flextronica and Magna Colours Ltd, UK. printing materials, machinery and equipment. Founded in 2004, the company started to serve the market with various products of international brands. “So far we have sold 14 Nano-Print plus and 5 Nano-Print in Turkey market and many orders are being finalised,” says Erdogan Altunok, Anka Serigrafi Kimya Sallari (Anka).

Grafica has appointed Dhaka-based Hyup Jin Group, as its Representative for Bangaldesh to market nano-prinTex, nano-prinTag, all electrical-mechanical automatic direct-to-garment screen printing machines. They will also market other Nano range screen printing machines and equipment used in heat transfers printing. Hyup Jin Group has also set up a show-room cum demo centre in Dhaka.Following this alliance, Grafica's MD, Bhargav Mistry was invited to make a presentation on advanced screen printing during the 'Global

Technical Seminar' organized by Hyup Jin Group in Dhaka in November 2014 which was attended by over 250 professionals from garment industry.

“nano-prinTex is well accepted in Bangladesh market as well, purely on merit of its Grafica brand, quality, performance and easy to use features. We are eager to explore the Bangladesh market,” says HK Kabir, Managing Director and Bulbul K. Bhattacharjee, Executive Director of Hyup Jin Group.

He adds, “It's too early to make any comments further. However, while we have already sold three nano-prinTex, and some proposals are under negotiation stage. Let me tell you the requirement for such machinery are increasing as nano-prinTex has a competitive advantage over the existing brands ex-Europe and –ex-USA, and that is why we expect to sell more machines.”

Terascreen, “There came the “Nano”… the giant idea to offer at a very reasonable and affordable price, modern and sophisticated UV equipment to print in small format to do everything from fabrication of the screen to the printing action. Very small companies exist not only in India but all over the world! And they also need, even in Europe, USA or South America the “3 C” I use to speak about the Nano Premier Leagues (NPL and NPL plus): “Cleaver, Clean, Chip”. Customers from South America are able to see live demo of Grafica's machines such as Nano-Print plus, Nano-Print, Nano-Screen Maker 5-in-1, Nano-UV, and Nano-Sharpener. Screengraf Ltda has been engaged in spreading the screen printing technique nationwide for the last 20 years. It has become the largest domestic supplier of machinery and equipment, inks, and supplemental services to printers in industrial, textile and graphics screen printing segments. “I was looking for such quality screen printing machinery and UV curing machine to supplement our current business portfolio of screen printing inks and consumables.
