Asset Management The Effective Photovoltaic Greenhouse
Philip Prause – Co-Founder and Executive Director
22-23 Oct 2015, TBB Berlin
The Problem – Farming model under pressure
2 GRAMMA Green Asset Management
Farming margins (particularly in
Europe) have come under pressure
due to:
• Higher input costs (among tem
energy)
• Lower prices
Integrating energy production with
agriculture could be a solution...
...But not at the expense of the
farming activity
The Idea – Photovoltaic Greenhouse
3 GRAMMA Green Asset Management
Photovoltaic (“PV”) greenhouses
could be a solution through:
• Electricity production
• Cost synergies
• Increased agricultural production as
compared to open field
But....
Existing PV greenhouses (only competitor
today) do not work
The Solution – The Effective PV Greenhouse
(EU patent 2 294 910 A1)
