“Ahoy, Grandpa! Let the adventure begin!”

“Yo-Ho-He-Ho! Yo-Ho-He-Ho,” Drooly started to sing.

“Wait! We don’t know where we are,” Grandpa said following him.

Walking on the pirate’s boat deck a flying green parrot came along.

“Braaak. Who are you? Who are you? Braaak,” asked Mango, the green parrot.

“Braaak, the pirate will see you, the pirate will see you, Braaak”

The pirate’s boots sounded closer and closer. “Braaak, you are in trouble, you are in trouble, Braaak,”

Mango said and flied away.

Grandpa and Drooly hid in fear hoping not to be found.

“Ahhh! Ahhh! Who are you!?”The distracted and forgetful pirate

asked when he found them.

Captain Cranky Ribs was a great pirate, but he forgets everything.

Even his own treasure chest!

Page 14: Grandpa and the hidden treasure

“Sorry to scare you, pirate,” Grandpa said.“What can we do to remedy the scare?”

“Just name it! There is nothing we can’t do!” Drooly said.

“Well...There is one thing.”“I have a piece of paper with drawings,

but I can not remember what it is” Captain Cranky Ribs said.

“It’s a treasure map!” Drooly shouted.“Say no more! We will help you.”

The boat finally arrived on the island, and off Grandpa and Drooly went.

A big treasure chest full of candies was what they found.

Crossing rock after rock and palm tree after palm tree,

they finally arrived.

Page 18: Grandpa and the hidden treasure

Not a second had passed, and Drooly was all over the candy.

Drooly said, while throwing the candies in the air.

“I am rich! I am rich!”

Page 19: Grandpa and the hidden treasure

Drooly was drooling over the treasure they just found and when he was about to open the first candy...

Grandpa quickly took the candy away.

“The candies are not ours, Drooly!”“We must take them back to the Captain!”

Grandpa said.“Just one, look how yummy they look,” Drooly said drooling all over the place.

Page 21: Grandpa and the hidden treasure

“No! We promised the captain.” Grandpa said firmly. “But...He won’t even remember.” Drooly insisted.

“No!”Grandpa closed the treasure chest and

went back to the boat.

They arrived back on the boat with the entire treasure chest.

Captain Cranky Ribs was so happy, he even

shared all the candies with Mango, Drooly and Grandpa.

After eating all the candies, it was time to go back home.

Grandpa and Drooly climbed up to the transported bed, and they flied away waving goodbye.
