Lay Summary of Project Briefly summarize your project in language appropriate for a general audience of individuals outside of your field of study. Describe your program or research, why it will be done, and why it is of value.

Project Cost Sharing Cost Share occurs when a portion of the costs of a grant award is not paid by the sponsor, but paid instead of using resources within a department, school/college, or another party. Cost Share is a commitment made by the PI to use resources, other than the Award, for completion of the Award objectives

Upon Completion Once you have completed the form, including the signatures of the Department Chair and Dean, you will send it to the Office of Sponsored Programs. The OSP will review the document for completion, and route it to the Provost’s Office, Chief Financial Officer, and VP of Special Projects for approval.

Assuming all approvals are granted, the Principal Investigator will receive an email from the Grants Administrator with approval to complete the application.

Only approved personnel are allowed to sign the grant application or submit an application electronically.
