electrical and mechanical equipment within an automated distribution center to minimize operational downtime as the only on-call Electronics Specialist in a 1.4 million square foot facility.

o Supervise and oversaw the training of maintenance teams for professional development, proper equipment operation and basic diagnostic troubleshooting.

maintenance and operation of electronic, hydraulic and mechanical equipment used in undersea sonar detection, tracking and recording to include passive/active systems, acoustic intercept receivers and multi-track recording systems.

o Troubleshot fault indications, implemented repairs to card and/or component level and conduct operational testing using technical documentation and schematics.

o Developed and implemented a comprehensive training plan for fifteen technicians who inspired and motivated subordinates, significantly improving their qualifications and productivity.

equipment maintenance, ensuring all course requirements were met and the training conducted was effective.

o Updated and maintained a testing data base for all assigned courses in the maintenance pipeline. Managed and mentor ten instructors and over forty students in the use of electronic classrooms and physical readiness, significantly enhancing fleet readiness.

o Trained, evaluated and monitored instructors during lectures and laboratory practical’s to evaluate performance and assist them in attaining their designation as a Master Training Specialist.

o Awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal for recognition and superior performance.

June 1986 - November 1998US Navy, Sonar Technician Submarineso Operated, inspected and maintained sonar equipment on board US nuclear submarines. o Conducted both preventive and corrective maintenance on passive, active sonar

surveillance systems including towed sonar arrays and associated hydraulic systems. o As Sonar Supervisor and ships oceanographer, provided direct support to the Officer of

the Deck and Commanding Officer for both sonar employment and tactical oceanography. o Supported the Leading Petty Officer by leading and mentoring junior sonar men within the

division in both operational and maintenance activities.o Qualified as Nuclear Weapons Security Guard. o Awarded three Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medals for recognition and superior
