My achievement is to be a professional designer by experiencing new ideas in the creative environment of Media Design School. I also want to study with people who have the same goal as me to exchange creative ideas and skills with each other. I’m interested in drawing and painting which I want to develop new Graphic Design techniques to adapt with my design projects and real-world applications. When I achieve what I mentioned above, I would like to work with Design Company and start creating my professional profile that I actually do it for businesses to prove myself as a qualified designer. Aſter that, I would like to have my design company.

MDS 2019

I was very young when I started to do art passionately. I went to many art classes in Thailand since a young age, supported by my parents.

Art inspires me to be creative in solving or expressing real world situations. I aspire to study and learn to become a more experienced creator using the tools and softwares to assist in my expressions and communications through art. I believe Media Design School is a great environment for me to succeed and find great learn-ing attributes that suit my learning and being professionally creative.

I would like to apply my knowledge to benefit or express other businesses and individuals thoughts and beliefs through art.

After that, I would like to have my design company.

Graphite Pencil Technical Drawing

Practicing my technical drawing skills using graphite pencil with different grades of shades, I was able to re-create the proportions of a male face into a descriptive pencil drawing.

I’ve used different techniques to determine all the tones of black and white balances and illustrated them into a drawing. I was able to perceive the spacial patterns of the light and proportions and create a 3D portrait effect.

2D Character Design On Paper Craft Model

Using the “Suspicious Gangster” character theme, I’ve created a unusual character of the gangster being female rather than male using the cool tone color theme. I’ve used Illustrator design and paper-craft dimensions to enable the 2D effect of a character after printed with thick cardboard paper.

I’ve added an off-set path to enable more space for a cutting outline after the design is printed. This characters casual hoodie, sunglasses, with a side look creates a perfect “Suspicious Gangster”.

3D Laser Design Learning Toy Stamps

My goal was to merge illustrations and laser cutting process to create an interactive stamp toys for young children while adding educational benefit. 29 stamps of A-Z are divided into 4 pallets using 2 sheets of balsa help learn different colors, letters, counting and words for 2-5 year olds.

Children enjoy the variety of illustrations to use more than 1 stamp to create new characters and environments as each illustration is a word from the letter.

3D Printing Disability Assistance Product

I wanted to create a tool that would safeguard a visually impaired or blind person from cutting themselves while chopping food. I used the MakerBot 3D printer to create a polymer plastic product from my design created with Rhinoceros 3D.

I have designed the device to hold an average of four fingers and provides a spacial guidance grid to allow for even cutting. Using 3D design software I was able to get percise measurements and optimal design features for a reliable device benefiting a practical real life situation.

Creating an invitation magazine for a new Thai restaurant opening Auckland. I created a book that includes Thai Menu Recipes for all of the guests attending. The graphic elements represent how Thai people traditionally wrap their food and desserts using banana leaves. The four recipes include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Dessert to illustrate the daily cycle of life. Using InDesign and Photoshop I was able to bring the Thai Food Dessert into a repetitive element design to create a logo to bring flow throughout the booklet invitation.

Festival Poster design

Auckland Christmas Music Festival in the park was the inspiration for this poster design. The fruity ice-cream suits the summer Christmas weather vibe. Using the subtle background typography displaying celebrity artists whom were performing during the event.

The Colors used are mainly Gold, Red, White, Green which represents the colors and spirit of Christmas.

Typography & Illustrations A Thai Honey Farm owner hired me to create their custom logo design for their honey products. The cartoon design was inspired by the owners three cute chubby children.

The unique typography typeface I have created on iPad illustrating dripping honey and lines which express the movement, vibes and colors of nature. The atmosphere displays hippos being active in a honey rich environment.

Photography Publication

Inspired by Praewa, a Thai student with a Scholarship in Auckland sounds like a perfect life-story, however the publication depicts the reality of the fast-paced, imperfect, eventful experiences. This reality depiction relates to the international student community as a whole. I’ve used repetitive bold texts and transparent paper to illustrate the on-going and short lived events of an international student, capturing the intensity.

Photography

These three pictures are my top pick out of all images I have taken during my holiday at Melbourne, Australia. I was playing around with shutter speed to get the movement of the cars. I also took advantage of the reflection on the mirror to get the inside view of the building which located opposite the museum. The last black and white image I focused on the person in the middle by using leading lines and remove some distractions

Acrylic on paper Sam Mitchell is my artist model for this self-portraiture series. I adapted her style by using her colorful palette, her graphic style and the negative space. Her main theme is about tattoos and emotions, so I picked the feeling of being in the bathtub playing with bath bomb which is quite a relaxing private activity. Sometimes spending time alone in the bathroom makes me over thinking, so for the final painting I used black acrylic for the background to show the negative thinking deep in mind. I used water color for self-portraiture and bath bomb pattern. The final work is basically present the meaningful thought while spending private time in the bathroom.

Graphic Design

This is my poster series that I’ve done in Design course at ACG. The assignment was to make up an event and design posters for it. My posters are for dairy food festival in Auckland, New Zealand at Aotea square during the summer time. Dairy industry is quite popular in New Zealand especially the signature taste of milk which could convince people from all over the world to try it. The pronounciation “MILQUE” is similar to the word “milk”. I use “que” instead of “k” because I combine the word “milk” and “unique” together. I would like to focus on any kind of desserts which has dairy product as one of its ingredient to be sold in this festival. My poster designs are inspired by 2 designers. Shabnam Shiwan is the designer that use the overlapping techniques between big scale of typography and photographs. I adapt this idea with my typography design by transforming each letters to symbols for the background decoration. Another designer is Neville Brody, he combines geometric style with his typography and doesn’t use too much colorful palette to keep his poster unity, so I apply this idea with my poster.

This is my final identity logo. I got inspired by my personal style. I personally love painting so I decided to put my water color illustration as a main part of logo. I drew over my artwork using brush tool to give graphic look and the red letter J at the back for a hint of the letter itself. The Serif font is used for the text around the logo and double text is created a little vintage style.
