Poster Making Competition

&

Graphic T- Shirt Design Competition

Department of Students Welfare organized a “Poster Making Competition” and “Graphic

T- Shirt Design Competition” under the Fine Arts & Paint Society of NIET Gr. Noida on

Saturday, 8th

February, 2014. The objective of the event was to collectively gather art,

energies and creativity of the entire college.

The theme of “Poster making competition” was the design a banner of annual tech-fest and

sports meet - Ebullience 2014. In this event students had participated in the team of 2.The

event witnessed participation of 21 teams from B.Tech, B.Pharma and MBA who were

supposed to make a poster which depicts the concept of Ebullience 2014. The event was

started with motivational speech by Dr. Ajay Kumar, Dean (Academics) and Dr. Sanjay

Gairola, Dean(R& D). The event was judged by Dr Rupa Majumdar, Prof Satyendra Sharma

(HOD ECE Dept) and Prof (Dr) Sanjay Gairola.

The results are as follows:

WINNERS: Preetha Ganguli (BT 1st Yr) and Salika (EN 1

st Yr).

RUNNERS UP: Akanksha (CSE 2nd

Yr), Itisha (CSE 2nd

Yr) and Sapna (ECE 2nd

Yr).

2nd

RUNNERS UP: Rahul (Civil 2nd

Yr) and Nishant (CSE 3rd

Yr).

A T-shirt design contest was organised in association with Varsity Coop, where in the

students was invited to send a graphic digital design of T-Shirt which has to be printed as

campus t- shirts. The event witnessed 26 entries which were analysed and judged by Mr

Ashish Gulati from Varsity Coop and out of submitted design, four best designs were

selected by designer and owner of varsity coop shop which will be printed as T-shirts and

will be up for sale at the Varsity Coop Merchandise store at NIET. The winners were

awarded with sweatshirts by Varsity Coop and will also be provided with the printed t shirt of

their design.

Dr O.P Agarwal (Honourable Chairman, NIET) and the entire NIET Management praised the

participants for their creative designs and distribute the winner certificates.
