It all starts with an apple…

One beautiful spring day in 1655, a man named Isaac Newton was sitting under an apple tree in his garden, enjoying a glass of tea.

Suddenly, one of the apples fell near him.

That got Newton thinking

“Why did the apple fall towards the Earth?”

“Why did it not “shoot upwards'' when it came away from the branch?”

So, he came up with the idea that the Earth must attract the apple towards it with some “unseen force''.

He named this force gravity.

Gravitational Force.Gravitation, or gravity, is a

natural phenomenon by which all physical bodies attract each other. It is most commonly experienced as the agent that gives weight to objects with mass and causes them to fall to the ground when dropped.

Its given by the equation -

Value Of “ G “= 6.673 X 10 ^-11 N/ ( m/kg ) ^2

are field

particles

Graviton is the particle exchanged when the two masses attract through gravitational force. This exchanged particle is called graviton.
