Encapsulating the true nature, life and history of Gray’s Inn, the Hallhas changed little since Elizabethan times. It manages effortlesslyto combine intimacy, tradition and grandeur for any occasion,whether it is a formal corporate conference or a memorableprivate wedding reception.

Captivating in its traditional surroundings, the Hall is decoratedwith historic paintings and heraldic shields. Several of the exquisitestained glass windows date back to 1462.The historic Armadascreen is believed to be made of oak timbers from a captured shipof the Spanish Armada and given to the Inn by Queen Elizabeth I.

The Hall is licensed for civil weddings and offers a distinguishedvenue for a wide variety of events, from informal wedding partiesand gala balls to formal dinners and corporate receptions.

Located on the first floor in an adjoining building opposite theHall, this exclusive and versatile banqueting room provides apeaceful view overlooking the beautifully landscaped squares.

The Bingham Room takes its name from Thomas Henry Bingham,Baron Bingham of Cornhill (1933 – 2010) who was BritishSupreme Court Judge, Jurist and Bencher of Gray’s Inn.

Refurbished in 2012, the Bingham Room boasts the latestintegrated AV equipment, including a PA system, LCD projector,screen and AMX touch panel.

It can be used in conjunction with the adjacent Bridge Bar,making it an ideal setting for theatre or boardroom style meetings,seminars and lectures.

It may also be used in conjunction with the Benchers’ Libraryfor select and private group meetings, lectures or presentations.

Opened in September 2012, the Rose Heilbron Room takes its namefrom Dame Rose Heilbron, DBE, QC (1914 – 2005) who was anoutstanding barrister and the first woman Treasurer of Gray’s Inn.

The Rose Heilbron Room offers the very latest in video conferencingtechnology. With dual screens, double cameras and a touch screencontrol panel, users are able to make both IP and ISDN video calls.

A link up with the equipment in the Bingham Room means that largeraudiences will also be able to benefit from the facility.

The latest multimedia equipment installed in the room ensures that it can be usedfor boardroom meetings, presentations, seminars and video conferences.

Gray’s Inn gardens are known as “The Walks” and were originallydesigned in 1606 by the then Treasurer, Sir Francis Bacon, whosestatue can be seen in the South Square.

The Walks remain among the largest private gardens in London:five acres of perfectly maintained park entered through a pair ofimpressive iron gates. “The Walks” provide a peaceful oasis amidst thebusy streets of Central London and are available throughout the year.

During the summer “The Walks” are equipped with a graceful andelegant marquee which is hard floored and carpeted throughout.The versatile structure holds endless opportunities for a widevariety of summer events.

The Walks and the marquee offer a distinguished setting for privateand corporate parties, wedding receptions, concerts, barbecues andother outdoor events.
