Don’t remind everyone of everything you have ever done in past jobs whenever they bring up an idea or question

Don’t sit in your office waiting for people to come to you – go see them in their workspace

Dress well and maintain an attractive external appearance

Recognize your shortcomings and surround yourself with people who will address those shortcomings

Do what you feel is right all the time, regardless of circumstance

There are always people who will up with reasons you can’t do something – ignore them.

When giving controversial news, always do it in a way you would feel comfortable with if the roles were reversed.

It is not how long or how hard you work, but how effectively.
