I am delighted to announce the single largest
number of scholarships ever launched in India.
Student mobility is critical for cultural relations.
The mutual movement of people and ideas
between India and the UK helps create the
environment for more creativity, innovation
and enterprise.
The British Council is working with partners
across Government in the GREAT Campaign,
promoting the UK as a destination to study.
We are offering 370 scholarships worth almost
1 million pounds (approx. 100 million rupees)
to Indian students in 260 under graduate and
postgraduate courses ranging from Engineering,
Law and Business to Art & Design, Biosciences
and IT at 36 UK institutions across England,
Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
We trust this offer will forge stronger long term

according to the latest QS report, a survey was carried out with 27,000
graduate employers and found that graduates from UK universities are
among the most employable, with employers rating five UK universities
among the world’s top 10.

teaching positively and Over 88% international graduates satisfied with
their learning experience.
