The Greek Ambassador Program is a means to promote a positive image for the Greek Community while being a resource for incoming students

and their parents. This program allows motivated Greeks to aid the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life (OFSL), Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC), and

Panhellenic Association.

Candidates will exhibit the following characteristics:-Outgoing-Motivated-Knowledgeable about the Greek community-Ability to disassociate from your chapter solely at Greek Ambassador events - please note that this does include Greek Preview, but this should not otherwise affect your ability to recruit for your chapter during any other recruitment event or Formal Fall Recruitment-Willing to promote Greek Life through various activities: high school visits, tabling, summer orientations, and various other opportunities that may present themselves

Necessary Dates of Attendance-Able to attend a short interview February 4th-6th -Able to attend training February 18th (tentatively)-Able to assist with Greek Preview on May 11th -Potential monthly meetings during all months the University is in session-Summer Freshmen Orientation Greek tours will be tentatively held on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 am – 4 pm

Up to 4 men and 4 women will be selected total. There is no limit on the number of applicants per chapter.

The following questions are to gauge your ability to interact with students and their parents. Please limit responses to 250 words or less, except for questions 1 and 2.

1. Please detail your Chapter Offices, Greek Activities and/or other Campus involvement since becoming a student at the University of Washington.

2. Greek Ambassadors will need to be available Tuesday and Fridays from 10-4pm during the summer when needed. How will you ensure that you keep this commitment? (We would let you know 2 weeks in advance if you were needed.)
