Zeimpekiko(ζεϊμπέκικος) is a greek folk dance with ancient greek origins. As a matter of fact, this is essentially an ancient Greek - Thracian dance. By all accounts, the word Zeimpekikos derived from Zeus(ancient greek god) and mpako , which means bread, according to Herodotus. That started from the ancient people who were praising at Zeus and dancing, praying for earthly fertility and bread. The character of the dance emits feelings of loneliness, sadness, nostalgia.

Horon is a dance style found in the Black Sea region, now modern Turkey. The dances called Horon derived from the Greek culture of the area and are circular in nature, each characterized by distinct short steps. Horon or the round dance is a typical folk dance of the Black Sea coastal area and its interior parts.

Belly dancing is believed to have had a long history in the Middle East, but reliable evidence about its origins is scarce, and accounts of its history are often highly speculative.Other names which are sometimes used for the dance in English speaking countries include Oriental Dance, Egyptian Dance, Arabic dance or Middle Eastern dance.Belly dance takes many different forms depending on the country and region, both in costume and dance style.
