Efforts by the Ministry of Works and Transport to Achieve Green StatusIn July 2013 the Permanent Secretary approved

the payment for 55 professionals from the Department of Capital Projects Management to under go training on the Green Star Rating Tool at the Habitat Research Centre in Katutura

In February 2014, the Permanent Secretary facilitated the training of five professionals at the Smart Build Conference in Cape Town South Africa. The conference showcased innovative sustainable materials and technologies.
