1. Conference and accommodation venue The Conference will be arranged at IBB Johannes Rau Center, Gazety Pravda ave. 11, Minsk, Belarus

Due to large interest to the event, the IBB Hotel was fully booked and Belarusian, Ukrainian and Russian

participants will stay in Zvezda Hotel (Gazety Zvezda 47, Minsk – see how to get there below).

2. Transport to the meeting venue

From the airport: By taxi: distance between Minsk National Airport and the city centre – 42 km. Trip time: 30-40 minutes. Taxi

can be ordered upon arrival to the airport at transfer service desk (cost 30 BYN ≈ 15 EUR and can be paid by

card at the desk) or can be ordered online in advance (http://airport.by/en/tourism/transfer/ordering). Also

you can use Uber services in Minsk

By public transport: by buses and shuttle-buses to the centre of the city (see details here), then by metro

from Plošča Lienina / Vakzalnaja to Piatroŭščhyna and then by feet – another 500 m.

From the train/bus station: Use Uber services, order taxi in advance, e.g. Pyatnitsa or take metro from Plošča Lienina / Vakzalnaja to

Piatroŭščhyna and then by feet – another 500 m.

To Zvezda Hotel: by metro from Plošča Lienina / Vakzalnaja to Piatroŭščhyna and then by trolleybus # 32 till Zvezda Hotel.

4. Visa and health insurance for foreign citizens Foreign citizens of 74 countries* can enter Belarus for up to 30 days** and exit from the territory of Belarus

only through the State border checkpoint of the Republic of Belarus “Minsk National Airport”.

NOTE: if you will travel by bus or train - you would still need visa (with exemption for Ukrainian and

Russian citizens)

You would also need to prove a medical insurance policy with coverage for at least 10 000 euros, valid in

Belarus during the whole duration of stay. You may have your own health insurance arranged in your home

country (e.g. through a travel agency – NB: it should be valid for Belarus) or it can be also purchased at the
