GREENHOUSE GASES
The gas most responsible for warming. Produced through the burning of fossil fuels including oil, coal, and natural gases.
Produced through agricultural practices, livestock, and landfills.
C- Carbon
O- Oxygen
H- Hydrogen
F- Fluorine
Produced through refrigeration and air conditioning methods. These greenhouse gases are 3,830 times more powerful than CO2 gases.

INVEST IN RENEWABLES
WIND SOLAR GEOTHERMALWind turbines do not produce greenhouse gases. These are very powerful sources of clean energy. Energy produced through wind turbines could source more than three times the total amount of electricity we produce in the United States.
Solar energy is produced by heat from the sun. Solar technologies capture, convert and distribute energy from radiated light. This energy is clean, inexhaustible, as well as import-independent.
Thermal energy is generated and then stored in the Earth’s surface. It can be stored as deep as 4,000 miles down. Currently in the United States, geothermal energy only makes up .3% of the country’s electricity generation.
