GREENWICH. IT’S ALL ABOUT GEOGRAPHY...
...AND HISTORYGreenwich is where the dimensions of space and time - as well as past and present - meet.A position at 0° longitude, the place where time is measured, it is the reference point from whicheverywhere else on the globe is placed in distance from the Greenwich Meridian.
The Meridian at Greenwich has also served as the reference line for Greenwich Mean Time. InGreenwich itself, it is impossible not to see the inexorable flow of history from the Royal Observatorydesigned by Sir Christopher Wren and the distinctive Old Royal Naval College buildings, all making up arich slice of history and designated a World Heritage site. However, Greenwich manages to combine arich history with a strong contemporary feel, seamlessly merging everything from heritage museumsto cutting-edge contemporary art galleries, as well as being home to an evolving landscape.
