Introduction
This report is devoted to the topic “Street Arts”
The aim of this report is to consider types of street arts.
Objectives:
1. to regard the history of street arts;2. to trace writing styles and their differences;3. to find out if street arts can be referred to vandalism
Chapter 1. Street arts
1.1 Street arts: definition and history
The Street art is visual art created in public locations, streets, avenues, buildings,
roads, gates, transport and this art is usually illegally made. This art movement is
popular in Britain. The basic type of street art is graffiti. Graffiti in the forms of
simple words or wall paintings appeared at the ancient times dating back to
Ancient Egypt, Greece and the Roman Empire when people drew pictures to bring
luck during hunting or win during battles and wars.
In ancient times, people take various materials: coal, clay, rosin, animal fat. People
do it by fingers or handmade brush.
Bud only in the 2010 year people learned to do balloon tire.
Before, people do cave drawings, draw animals (mammoths, buffalo and so on), they thought, that this rite brought luck on hunting.
1.2. Writing styles.
Styles of the character in graffiti:
1. Bubble - plumb letters, which are similar, so like bubbles. Often few colours basically 2 or 3 are used.
2. Blockbuster- big letters, without interlacement and no graphic refinement. Usually they are black-white or dichromatic. Often there are painted by the roller.
3. Wild style-unclear, plosive and wild. Feature of his is tangled plexus of the letters. Out the wild style, release 3D picture on the floor.
4. FX/3D- features: bulkiness of the letters, play of light, shadows and realness of the painting.
5. Writing- the main, the most popular.
6. Rombing- extreme, people write very fast, which is on the transport, more often on the trains.
7. Tagging- signature of the artists.
8. Scrabbing / scratching- scratchs in the underground or other transport, generally.
9. Clean advertising – advertising on the floor.
10. Throw-up- big size, simple lines and very easy.
11. Character- image of the cartoon characters, so difficult and required a lot of time or a lot of people.
12. Messiah Style- letters, which as if written on different sheets, so folded together.
13. Computer Roc Style- images into separate fragment, which each fragment tilted in different sides.
Exist, about 1000 type, but my favorite is «Diel» by Rizkaard Dakthirteen.
Balloon tire isn’t a device which we use to infliction dye.

So, we can meet vandalism in the internet too.

1. To their it is a pleasure
2. Revenge
3. Advertising

2. delete the picture
3. create the place in which people can paint
4. create the festival aimed to paint advance invented print, on the blank walls in the city
1.4. Popular graffiti artists
Banksy
Banksy is a man of mystery. He hardly ever gives interviews and likes to be
anonymous. Nobody knows much about his life or his background but many
people believe that his real name is either Robin Gunningham, Robert Banks or
Robin Banks and that he was born in 1973 near Bristol.
Banksy’s controversial ‘street art’ includes spray paintings on live sheep and cows
and graffiti on the huge wall erected to divide Israel and Palestine. Brad Pitt spent
over 2 million dollars on a Bansky original. Banksy designed an album cover for
the Britpop group Blur in 2003 but he has refused at least four requests to do
adverts for Nike. A year after the Bristol exhibition, Banksy made a film called
Exit Through the Gift Shop. The film tells the story of a French street artist in
America. Exit Through the Gift Shop received many positive reviews. Nobody
knows if it was about a real artist or an invented character from Banky’s
imagination.
He reached to the TV, he was asked to do own version or the introduction animated series «The Simpsons».
His work:
Interesting fact:
The most expensive street art was sold in 2008 year for $1 870 000, and was named «Keep It Spotless», it was written by the Banksy.
Stech
On his creation grew breed of the artist, and he is legend of New York.
In the 1990 year he cooperated with «Nike» and «Vans».
Baski
History of the origin:
Graffiti begun from 1942 year , during The Second World War, when working
Kilroy wrote «Kilroy was here» , on each box with bombs, which made on the
fabric in Detroyed. Soldier in Europe reproduce this phrase on the walls during
bombing.
1.5. Legal places for street art in London
London is one of the World’s best places to see street art and artists come from far
and wide in order to paint its walls. The East End of London in particular has a
renowned reputation but there are other fantastic spots with some great art scenes
in their own right. Now, to make life a little easier, we’ve decided to put together
this guide to the top 10 best places to see street art in the city. It might not meet
with everyone’s agreement as of course the list is subjective but one thing for sure,
they are all worth a visit.
Brick Lane
The epicentre of street art in the UK, Brick Lane is where, it could be argued, the
whole scene in this country at least started. From Whitechapel in the south to
Bethnal Green and Shoreditch in the north, the lane has played host to many
communities over the years and the artistic one is just the latest. With hubs around
the Seven Sisters Car Park, Hanbury Street, The Old Truman Brewery, Pedley
Street, Cheshire Street and Scalter Street are all great spots to visit.
East London: the Old Street to Brick Lane area
East London is the centre for street art within the city. Seemingly limitless stencils
and posters adorn the area, as well as more traditional graffiti pieces. From Old
Street station you can walk down Great Eastern Street towards Brick Lane,
ducking down Rivington Street, Curtain Road and Redchurch Street en route.
Check out the walls by Village Underground (Great Eastern Street and Hollywell
Lane), including the commercial wall the lovely folks at End of the Line run. There
are other side streets with art along the way, and more just off of Brick Lane itself.
Check out the giant Phlegm mural on Heneage Street (off of Brick Lane) that
Global Street Art arranged!
Leake Street tunnel, by Waterloo Station
Leake Street is just around the corner from Waterloo Station. It’s by far the most
accessible and convenient graffiti space in London and was the site of Banksy’s
2008 Cans Festival. New work goes up all the time but, sadly, a lot of it does not
last long enough to get good pictures. Good work is often tagged over quickly.
Sometimes you might get lucky and see some cool pieces by Tizer, Cept, Parlee
and others, especially just after a jam or on a writer’s birthday.
Scotland has the longest legal graffiti wall (almost 110 metres long) in the UK.
Anyone can paint on the council-owned wall any time they like. Mike Crilley, the
graffiti wall project organiser, promotes the positive side of graffiti and runs
workshops for local children.
Conclusion:
We have considered the definition of street arts and focused on graffiti.
From the historical point of view:
Graffiti are writing or drawings that have been scribbled, scratched, or painted
illicitly on a wall or other surface, often in a public place.
Nowadays, graffiti are popular but made with sprays and paints still in public
places.
Among graffiti styles and works there are real masterpieces that can be referred to
art. However, taking into account the fact that graffiti are made illegally and
damage private properties without owners’ permission, it can be traced as a case of
vandalism. As vandalism is the crime of intentionally damaging property
belonging to other people. Moreover, graffiti can contain offensive words, political
provocation, nonsense ideas and aggressive information destroying the outlook of
a person. Anyway, there is a solution; the government of any country should
provide graffiti lovers with special places where they can express their ideas
following censorship.
There are legal places for graffiti in London, for example,
1. Brick Lane
2. East London: the Old Street to Brick Lane area
3. Leake Street tunnel, by Waterloo Station
