Meta-Majors
A meta-major is a collection of academic programs that havecommon or related content.
Undecided students – some of these students have a general idea ofthe topic they want to study.
Meta-majors will help them choose the classes that will start them outon the correct path to a number of related degrees.
These can be computed directly from sets of degree requirements, ifthey are stored in a way that allows inspection and automatedreasoning. I.e., we don’t have to create them, we can find them.
