GERALDO RIVERAGREEK HERITAGE PARK
Celebrating Strong Foundations and Future Leaders.
Those interested in making a donation or honoring friends, family, or Greek brothers and sisters will have many options and a variety of
giving levels. From engraving your name on one of the bricks to naming a plaza, those interested will be able to customize their donation to best suit their interests and celebrate their personal
experience or that of others.
To see more examples of park naming opportunities, complete with pictures, visit
uagreek100.com/donate.
ABOUT THE PARKThe original park design came from a student design competition in the UA College of Architecture through which two undergraduate members of Sigma Chi submitted the winning proposal.
From their original design the park evolved to include trees, permanent tables and chairs, and custom Greek letter benches creating a more inviting space on 1st street. To enter the park visitors will pass through welcoming columns denoting the various donor gifts.
Brick and paver lined pathways lead into smaller plazas complete with wall seating and places to gather with friends, brothers, and sisters. The lawn and stage will allow chapters and campus friends to host events and bring the community together.
Along the eastern edge of the park visitors can stroll through the colonnade walkway and sit on one of the custom benches, and finally visit the timeline wall and learn about the 100 year history of the University of Arizona Greek Community.
