Grosse Pointe Gators Swim Club Press Release Grosse Pointe Gators Swimmer Alexis Wegner breaks 2 state records at AllStar Championships in Indy! Fares Ksebati, Club Manager & Assistant Swim Coach 1/8/13 1:20:00 AM INDIANAPOLIS, IN Grosse Pointe Gators swimmer and University of Liggett Middle school student, Alexis Wenger, broke 2 Meet Records while competing for Team Michigan at the 2013 MidStates 14 and under AllStar Championships held Jan 5th and 6 th . Alexis swam a 106.87 in the 100 Breast that broke a 10yearold meet record and 20yearold State of Michigan record. She also won the 50 Breast in a meet record time of 31.08. She competed in a total of 6 events, and two relays. Alexis was a part of two winning relays: the 1112 year old girl's 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay. Both set meet records. She also was the individual high point winner of all girls for Team Michigan.
