Antonio Ciampi Hello, my name‟s Antonio Ciampi and I‟m an Italian boy of twelve years of age. I‟m quite tall and thin. I‟ve got brown eyes and black hair. I live, in Grottaminarda, with my father because my parents are divorced. Grottaminarda is a small town in the south of Italy, in the Campania region. I come from a family of four: my dad, my mum, my brother and me. My father‟s name is Domenico, he is fifty-three and he‟s a hydraulic. My mother‟s name is Maria. She is forty-three and she‟s a cook. My brother Michele is a cook, too. I go to “Giovanni XXIII°” Secondary School and I attend the second year. I‟m not brilliant at school because I don‟t study a lot. I start my lessons at 8.10 and I finish school at 13.40. My favourite subjects are Art and Physical Education. I‟ve got a friend, Rocco. He‟s my best friend. He‟s a good volleyball player. I love animals and I‟ve got a Doberman. She‟s an enormous dog. Her name‟s Noah. She‟s black and she‟s very friendly. Every Tuesday evening I do karate but I‟m not very good in this sport. I live in the suburbs, about two kilometres from the centre. My house is big. There‟s a hall, a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, a bathroom and two bedrooms, one for my father and one for me. My bedroom isn‟t very big but it‟s nice. I‟ve got a desk, a chair, a wardrobe, two shelves for my books and CDs and two beds. Above my bed there‟s a poster of Schumacher. I‟ve got a computer on my desk and a stereo. I like football and videogames. I often play football with my friends and in the evening I usually go to my room and play games on my computer.

I study Maths, Italian, Information Technology, English, French, Geography, History, Science, Art, Physical Education, Music, Religion Education, Technology and Civics. My favourite school subjects are Italian, Maths and English. I think they are interesting. I hate Science, because it‟s boring. My school starts at 8:10 and finishes at 13:40, we don‟t wear a school uniform and from 10:50 to 11:00 we have got a break. I have got my flute lessons twice a week and every Monday and Wednesday I play volleyball. My best friend is Ilenia. She‟s very pretty and clever. She has got long dark hair and brown eyes. I live in a detached house and it‟s quite big. In my house there‟s a kitchen, a living room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a study. There‟s a garden and a garage, too. My favourite room is my bedroom, it‟s big and nice. There‟s a bed, a bedside table, a wardrobe, a desk, a chair and two shelves. In front of the bed there‟s a window and under the window there‟s my desk. On the desk there‟s my computer, some books and pens. Under the desk there‟s a small basket with CDs and cassettes. I like reading books. My favourite books are Twilight by Stephany Mayer. I think it‟s fantastic. I like swimming but I hate cooking, I think it‟s boring. I love listening to music, my favourite pop singer is Laura Pausini and she‟s very nice. My favourite film star is Brad Pitt, he‟s a handsome man.
