PESTICIDE RESISTANCE MANAGEMENTEvergreen® PRO 60-6 contains a Group 3Ainsecticide. Insect biotypes with acquired resistanceto Group 3A may eventually dominate the insectpopulation if Group 3A insecticides are usedrepeatedly in the same field or in successive years asthe primary method of control for targeted species. This may result in partial or total loss of control ofthose species by Evergreen PRO 60-6 or other Group3A insecticides.

To delay insecticide resistance consider: • Avoiding the consecutive use of Evergreen PRO

60-6 and other Group 3A insecticides that havea similar target site of action, on the sameinsect species.

• Using tank mixtures or premixes withinsecticides from a different target site ofaction Group as long as the involved productsare all registered for the same use and havedifferent sites of action.

• Basing insecticide use on a comprehensive IPMprogram.

• Monitoring treated insect population for lossof field efficacy.

(continued)

NON-AGRICULTURAL USEREQUIREMENTS

The requirements in this box apply to uses ofthis product that are NOT within the scope ofthe Worker Protection Standard for agriculturalpesticides (40 CFR, Part 170). The WPS applieswhen this product is used to produceagricultural plants on farms, forests, nurseries,or greenhouses.

USED ALONE: This concentrate can be used also asa cleanup or a pre-harvest spray where other materialscannot be used because of residue restrictions.Contains pyrethrins, a botanical insecticide.USED IN COMBINATION WITH OTHERINSECTICIDES: Evergreen PRO 60-6 may becombined with other insecticides and acaricideswhere resistance may be a problem, and to providea flushing of insects from hiding and into contact withother spray residues for quicker and more thoroughkill. The application must conform to the accepted userestrictions and directions for both products.Prior to tank mixing, a compatibility test should beconducted using the proper proportions of chemicalsand water to ensure the physical compatibility of the mixture.Tank mix applications must be made in accordancewith the more restrictive of label limitations andrestrictions. No label application rates may beexceeded. This product cannot be mixed with anyproduct with label prohibitions against such mixing.USE THROUGH IRRIGATION SYSTEMS(CHEMIGATION): Apply this product only throughsprinkler (including center pivot, lateral move, endtow, side (wheel) roll, traveler, big gun, solid set, orhand move) irrigation systems. Do not apply thisproduct through any other type of irrigation system.Crop injury, lack of effectiveness, or illegal pesticideresidues in the crop can result from non-uniformdistribution of treated water. If you have questionsabout calibration, you should contact State ExtensionService specialists, equipment manufacturers orother experts.

Do not connect an irrigation system (includinggreenhouse systems) used for pesticide applicationto a public water system unless the pesticide label-prescribed safety devices for public water systemsare in place. A person knowledgeable of thechemigation system and responsible for theoperation or under the supervision of the responsibleperson, shall shut the system down and makenecessary adjustments should the need arise.

The system must contain a functional check valve, vacuum relief valve, and low-pressure drainappropriately located on the irrigation pipeline toprevent water source contamination from backflow. The pesticide injection pipeline must contain afunctional, automatic, quick-closing check valve toprevent the flow of fluid back toward the injectionpump. The pesticide injection pipeline must alsocontain a functional normally closed, solenoid-operated valve located on the intake side of theinjection pump and connected to the systeminterlock to prevent fluid from being withdrawn fromthe supply tank when the irrigation system is eitherautomatically or manually shut down. The systemmust contain functional interlocking controls toautomatically shut off the pesticide injection pumpwhen the pump motor stops. The irrigation line orwater pump must include a functional pressure valvethat will stop the water pump motor when the waterpressure decreases to the point where pesticidedistribution is adversely affected.

System must be a metering pump, such as a positivedisplacement injection pump (e.g., diaphragm pump)effectively designed and constructed of materialsthat are compatible with pesticides and capable ofbeing fitted with a system interlock.

Do not apply when wind speed favors drift beyondthe area intended for treatment.

Constant agitation must be maintained in thechemical supply tank during the entire period ofinsecticide application. Greater accuracy incalibration and distribution will be achieved byinjecting a larger volume of more dilute suspensionper unit of time.

USE ON GREENHOUSE FRUIT, VEGE-TABLE, FLOWER AND FOLIAGE PLANTS:USED ALONE: Combine up to 12.6 fl. oz. ofEVERGREEN PRO 60-6 with sufficient water forcoverage of 1 Acre for applications with conventionalhydraulic sprayers, (or 1 to 1.74 teaspoons withsufficient water for applications with compressed airsprayers to cover 1,000 sq. ft.). Do not exceedmaximum application rates of 12.6 fl. oz. ofEvergreen PRO 60-6 per acre (or 0.29 fl. oz. (1.7teaspoons) Evergreen PRO 60-6 per 1,000 sq. ft.).

PHYTOTOXICITY NOTE: Plant safety is animportant consideration when using insecticides ina greenhouse. However, it is not possible to evaluatethe phytotoxicity of Evergreen PRO 60-6 towardsnumerous plant varieties that may react differentlyto insecticides in different growth stages or undervarying environmental conditions. Before makingwidespread applications of Evergreen PRO 60-6,treat a limited number of plants and observe forphytotoxicity over a 10-day period.

USED IN COMBINATION WITH OTHERINSECTICIDES: To provide quick knockdown ofinsects when used with a residual insecticide, tankmix 1 to 4 fl. oz. of Evergreen PRO 60-6 with theproper amount of companion insecticide in 100gallons of water and apply with a conventionalhydraulic sprayer. Applications must be made inaccordance with the more restrictive of labellimitations and precautions. No label applicationrates may be exceeded.
