Since 1988, GROUP APC PLC has been providing contracting services with clear objectives: to ensure the highest standards of

quality and integrity, to guarantee continuous

project monitoring and to develop strong, long

term customer relations.

GROUP APC PLC offers its clients professional

expertise through people who are committed to

teamwork. We are able to combine specialised

knowledge and the latest technologies to meet

our clients' needs.

Over the years, we have succeeded in becoming

one of the leading building and civil engineering

contractors and property developers in Cyprus.

In 2001 we extended our business horizons even

further with our presence in the Greek market

through APC (Hellas) SA, which was followed by

our presence in Romania through our subsidiary

Osorio Holdings Ltd. Since 2005, when Latomia

Pharmakas (Pharmakas Quarries) became part of

GROUP APC PLC, we have been broadening the

range of our activities into the production of ag

gregates and other quarry products, as well as the

production and supply of ready-mix concrete and

asphalt. As a result, the Group is now the leading

supplier of core construction materials in Cyprus.

The Group is seeking to expand its activities in

Africa and the Middle East.

Our aim is to improve constantly and, to this

end, we obtained ISO 9001 Quality Management

Certification in 2011.

Health and Safety issues are among our top

priorities, which is why we continuously put in

place actions and processes that safeguard the

health and safety of all those working with us

and those working for us.

ABOUT US BY WAY OF INTRODUCTION ...

A. Panayides Contracting Public Ltd (GROUP APC PLC ) has been involved in the construction sector since 1988 when

it was founded by the late Andreas Panayides. It

has since become established as one of the most

important contracting companies in Cyprus

and beyond the island's borders. The projects it

undertakes are always guided by the principles of

seriousness, responsibility and consistency.

Thanks to its human face, teamwork, know-how

and an emphasis on safety, it makes dreams come

true. Every project undertaken strictly adheres

to the technical specification defined for it. The

company's ISO 9001 certification is in itself an

indication of the quality of the work put into every

project.

The ethos and honesty that underpin each project

undertaken, the hard word to ensure that delivery

deadlines are met, together with its long-term

relations with its clients, have given GROUP APC

PLC the authority to expand into other related

areas of activity while remaining at the top. An

important aspect that deserves to be mentioned is

DESIGN-BUILD-MAINTAIN

In recent years there has been a growing tendency for projects, especially in the public sector, to use the "Design-BuildMaintain" {D-B·M) method. The Group has

acquired valuable expertise in this type of con

tracts and has successfully completed a number

of D-B-M projects, such as the Cyprus Police

Aviation Unit Facilities at Larnaka International

Airport, the Presidential Palace (New Building)

in Nicosia and the New Metrology Laboratory

in Nicosia. Another important D-B-M project,

where work is currently in progress, is the Exten

sion to Larnaka General Hospital.

GROUP APC PLC has developed a highly capa

ble network of partnerships with professional de

signers and consultants, which enables the Group

to efficiently carry out all required design work.

As far as the maintenance phase ofD-B-M

projects is concerned, GROUP APC PLC utilizes

both internal and external resources to fulfil all

maintenance work requirements, while at the

same time retaining full control and the efficient

management of all maintenance processes.

D PRESIDENTIAL PALACE (NEW BUILDING) NICOSIA, CYPRUS

This new building constitutes an important ad

dition to the historic building of the Presidential

Palace of the Republic of Cyprus, in Nicosia. The

building has already been used extensively during the Cypriot presidency of the European Un

ion Council, in the second half of 2012, hosting

numerous receptions, banquets and other events.

Among the guests who enjoyed the facilities of

this beautiful hall were government ministers

from the 27 EU member states and high ranking

officials of the European Commission, including

President Jose Manuel Barroso and High Repre

sentative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy

Baroness Catherine Ashton.

Following a competition, the contract to design,

build and maintain this building was awarded to

our company. The contract included provision

for 12-year maintenance. The timely completion

of the project was very important, in view of the

assumption of the Presidency of the EU Council

from Cyprus. Our company successfully deliv

ered the building to the state within the time

frame set, in only eleven months.

In addition to providing the necessary facilities

to its guests, this brand new hall enhances the

image of the Presidential Palace. In the design

and construction of this building, great empha

sis was placed on the full respect of the historic

building of the Presidential Palace and the

overall environment. The building is energy ef

ficient and is equipped with an extensive range of

modern equipment and facilities. It can seat 500

people, or 300 if seated by table.

IT ALWAYS COMES WHEN YOU WORK HARD ...

Most of our projects have been recognised and have received glowing reviews. The most

important awards with which we have been hon

oured are three State Architectural Prizes for three

different projects. In 1992 we received the award for

the Saint Elias Tourist Village in the Architecture

& Tourism category from the then President of the

Republic, George Vassiliou. In 2001, the New GSP

Stadium won the Major Architectural Project award,

which was handed out by the then President of the

Republic Glafcos Clerides. And in 2004, we were

honoured with the Public Building award for the

Union of Cyprus Journalists' Building, which was

presented by the late President of the Republic

Tassos Papadopoulos.

GROUP APC PLC is very active with a number of charitable causes with the aim of contributing to society as a whole. To this end

it supports many charitable NGOs, including the

Cyprus Red Cross and the annual Radiomarathon

for children with special needs.

Moreover, it is the main sponsor of the Dali munici

pal nursery. The local authorities named it after the

company's founder Andreas Panayides in his hon

our and in recognition of his social contribution.

Contributing to society is one of the Group's main

objectives.

Developing projects ... creating value

IN GREECE

2001 was a milestone in the company's history: the decision to expand into Greece.

APC (Hellas) was established primarily for land

and property development purposes and with the

aim of moving into the contracting sector.

When the decision was taken to expand the compa

ny, things were very different from today. However,

in the face of the financial crisis and the ensuing

difficulties, GROUP APC PLC remained undaunt

ed and proceeded to grow and thrive in Greece. In

any case, it is our belief that hard work and ethos

are always rewarded. The move to expand the com-

pany's activities into Greece and its establishment

there was a main component of the company's

strategy which aims to maintain its leading position

in public and private projects. Its know-how and

contracting practices give GROUP APC PLC a

competitive advantage over its rivals. At the present

time, the company has a number of projects under

study in various areas of the Attica region.

As regards the contracting sector, the company

intends to focus on medium-sized projects such as

commercial buildings as well as private residences,

hotels, tourist villages and refurbishments.

The further expansion of the company was a result of its growth in Cyprus. We truly believe that experience and know-how

don't recognise borders and our priority is to

offer everything we have learned throughout the

years by creating projects that will remain as a

legacy to future generations.

1his is the reason behind the establishment of our

subsidiary company Osorio Holdings, which is

active in land and property development in the

emerging Romanian market. Lately we have been

considering projects in the Bucharest and lasi areas

concerning commercial buildings, offices, private

residences, villas and residential plots ofland.

Recently, the first phases of the Aria Residences

project have been completed in north Bucharest.

The demand for aQCJregates and other quarry products, ready-mix concrete and asphalt concrete for new construction and project maintenance is growing daily, together with a need for quality in the

various construction projects throughout the country. Having predicted this development a

long time ago, GROUP APC PLC took timely

action in the sector and entered the market for

aggregates, concrete and asphalt with Lato

mia Pharmakas (Pharmakas Quarries - www. pharmakas.com), which has been involved in

quarrying activities since 1986.

Latomia Pharmakas plc was founded in 1986 as a private company. It became a public company in

1999 and was floated on the stock exchange in 2000.

In 2005 it was purchased by Gerik Investments Ltd.

was delisted from the Cyprus Stock Exchange and

became a member of GROUP APC PLC.

Through Latomia Phannakas, GROUP APC

PLC owns three quarries: the Pharmakas diabase

quarry. the Politiko diabase quarry and the Mitsero limestone quarry.

QUARRY PRODUCTS Our quarries produce aggregates of the highest qual

ity, armourstone and paving stone. The main features that make them stand out are:

of the Cyprus Public Works Department); the quality of the raw materials (all quarried material can

produce high quality final product with high trade value); the quantity of raw materials (we have huge

quantities of raw materials and important private

can have extensions to the quarry zones for at least

another 50 years); armourstone for marine works (our quarry at Mitsero is the only quarry in Cyprus

that can produce armourstone suitable for marine works, and is the exclusive supplier of armourstone

for the Limassol Marina); and paving stone prod

ucts (our new paving stone factory at Pharmakas

Quarry utilizes our own armourstone to manufacture a wide range of paving stone products). The

combined capabilities of our quarries enable us

READY-MIX CONCRETE

Through Latomia Pharmakas, GROUP APC PLC acquired and operates

three ready-mix concrete plants in the Nicosia district, trading under

the names of "Powermix", "Pharmakas Beton'' and ''A.G. Kazanos': The

plants, which are ISO 9001 certified, produce different types of high

quality concrete suitable for a variety of construction projects. GROUP

APC PLC owns a large fleet of concrete mixers and pump trucks. All

this means that we can feel proud to have the largest share of the Cy

prus market, which raises us in our clients' esteem and increases their

recognition of our worth. Our plants and machinery all feature the latest

technology, enabling us to cater properly for every construction project

requiring our products. Finally, our concrete is of the highest quality

since we use our own quarry products to produce it and the combination

lhe Group specialises in both the production and laying of asphalt. For

this reason we can satisfy every need and serve every project requir

ing asphalt, be it a motorway, a road, a car park, etc., and we always

K~dits Asphalt Ltd. Prometheas Asphalt Ltd produces asphalt at its two

self-0wned plants in Nicosia which cater to the whole of the Cyprus

meeting clients' deadlines. lhe company was established through the

colla oration o( the most important construction companies on the

island: A.Panayj.des Contracting, Cybarco, Chapo, GCC and Latomia

Pharmakas. Pnarmakas Kedris Asphalt Ltd, which has been a member

of GROUP APC PLC since 2006, focuses on the supply and laying of

The building belongs to the Cooperative Computer Society (SEM) and it will be the IT centre for all the Coop Banks in Cyprus. The three levels of office space, enclosed by a highly sophisticated and impressive metal and glass dome, have been designed down to the very last detail so as to provide the highest levels of security and functionality

DESIGN AND ORIGINALITY CNP INSURANCE COMPANY BUILDING

A state-of-the-art building has been designed for the CNP Insurance Company, which features three underground levels for parking, a large reception area, a cafeteria and an amphitheatre on the ground and mezzanine floors, while its five floors will be used for offices. The building will have an impressive fa

<rade of black granite, white marble and aluminium sheets. The interior will be totally functional with the very latest technology playing a leading role and taking into consideration the comfort of employees and visitors alike. Additional features include automatically operated shading systems, control of all energy consuming internal services, advanced electromechanical systems and a particularly high level of quality for the internal finishes.
