UKs first and largest development to begin from the latest round of Enterprise Zones (Area given support such as financial incentives and reduced planning restrictions, to name a few, in order to encourage new business and jobs, and contributing to the growth of local and national economy). One of the fastest build programmes for a project of its size in the UK. Winner of SHD logistics best start up facility UK 2013 award RFQ Process The option for Vantec Europe was to rent multiple warehouses or to build a facility close to our main customer NMUK As this was to create extra employment we put a bid in for a Regional Growth Fund award. The success of this helped our head corporation to decide to invest in building the warehouse. The process required us to employ a company to write the bid. This was long and detailed and required a clear direction of what growth was expected by date due to the project The funding was to be claimed after stages within the build and then once the headcount had been increased. This meant that Vantec had to have the funds available initially to be able to pay the contractors. Time line Thank You For Your Time 16
