1. Objective• The objective of this group discussion is to find out the opportunities and
possibilities of the Delta region to design its ICT development strategy• The following table summarizes the different actions to develop the four areas of
an ICT development strategy. Only some examples of useful tools to reach the different actions are given
• First of all, you have to evaluate the pertinence of each example tool for the Delta region: would it be useful? Would it be feasible? In which specific way?
• Secondly, you have to think carefully about any other tool that you can imagine which could help to reach the 4 proposed goals. Once you have stated them, you should ask yourself about their pertinence using the questions of the previous point: would it be useful?...
• Finally, you have to decide which tool/s fits better for the Delta region case and fill in the “Delta region strategy column” with a description of the tool, how you plan to implement it and how it helps to reach the goals
