Picnic Shelters Silver Falls State Park offers two reservable Day Use Picnic Shelters. Each are ideal for out- door weddings and events. Located in the South Falls Day Use Area, all shelters have run- ning water, electrical outlets, lighting, fireplace and numerous picnic tables. Picnic Shelter B ~ Situated atop a moderate hill amongst a historic apple orchard, this shelter offers moderate privacy. A large grass area below the shelter is perfect to set up croquet, badminton, volleyball (bring your own) or for just lounging in the shade. This area does have a small grav- el parking area and nearby restrooms. Picnic Shelter E ~ A short walk across Silver Creek will bring you to this very popular & largest of the picnic shelters. A large grassy area surrounds the shelter, great for spreading out. This picnic area is also within a close walk to South Falls. Vehicle access is allowed for unloading/loading (with pre-approval.) Food can be BBQed using the charcoal standing grills, or catered. Amplified sound is permitted as is bulk alcohol and pets on leash. Group Facilities at Silver Falls State Park Shelters B is $50 per day for the first 50 people. Shelter E is $100 per day for the first 100 guests. Each per person in addition is $1. The maximum for any shelter is 200 people per reservation. In addition a $5 per vehicle Day Use Pass, is required. Options such as a group tally for vehicle payment is permitted.

Picnic Shelter B ~ Situated atop a

North Falls Meeting Hall

This is an example of the venue when decorated. The tables provided are standard folding 8 foot in length, chairs are sturdy and cloth.

This day use building offers group campers or other groups a facility with seating for 100, restroom, modern kitchen and fireplace. The maximum occupancy is 125 and reserves for $200 a day. There is a gravel parking area for up to 30 vehicles each requiring a $5 per vehicle day use pass.

The Ranches

The Ranches are very popular overnight facilities, ideal for large groups. Both the Old and New Ranch rent for $200 a night each for the first 25 overnight guests. After which, an $8 per person, per night fee is charged, up to 75 people maximum. Check-in for all overnight facilities is 4:00 pm, check-out 1:00pm. Though the two venues are considerably different, each ranches includes a kitchen with commercial appliances, men’s and women’s restrooms, loft style sleeping and central fireplaces. Parking is limited to a maximum of 30 vehicles. No RVs are permitted. In addition, a $5 per vehicle day use pass is required at this location for day use guests.

Camp Silver Creek

Old Ranch, open seasonally New Ranch, open year-round

Open seasonally, Camp Silver Creek is a historic and secluded area, perfect for large group events. Availa-bility is limited to Spring and late Summer. Specific dates available upon request.

This rustic overnight facility includes forty cabins, dining hall, recreation building, camp fire circle, amphitheater and much, much more. This facility rents for $800.00 per night for the first 80 guests. After which, a $10 per person, per night fee is charged, up to 250 people maximum.
