People Our business has been able to grow into one of Alberta’s premier abatement contractors through the strength of our people. Our owners have more then 35 years of combined Hazardous Materials Removal experience, as well as other business accomplishments. The Aztec Team has successfully completed millions of dollars of work and have been able to home the industry and create innovation to better serve this sector. We believe that top to bottom our greatest strength is our people and share that vison through our quality work and retention of talented team members.

Health, Safety and Environment A commitment to health, safety and the environment is at the very heart of our company. It has long been known that exposure to such airborne contaminants such as; asbestos, mould, lead, mercury and PCBs, among others, pose a serious risk to human health. We use the latest abatement technologies to handle a wide range of hazardous materials and building contaminants. Through safe and effective management, containment and removal, Aztec ensures that the risk to human health and the environment is remediated.

Bonding and Insurance Aztec Group is fully licensed, bonded and insured to protect the success of our client’s projects. We carry a comprehensive package of general liability and fleet insurance with special coverage for environmental pollution. Additional coverage for specific projects is also available, including increased limits and other coverages as required by our clients. We also hold an up-to-date registration with workers’ compensation programs in each of the provinces in which we operate. As a result of our extensive health & safety program, we have consistently received preferred standing for maintaining an excellent track record of on-the-job safety. Our partner Bridge Capital is a source of funding for projects to further enhance our ability to perform on projects. Through traditional bank financing, funding can limited to the ebb and flow of cash on hand and limited , non contractor friendly lines of credit. With Bridge Capital we now have the ability to use traditional bank financing as well as project to project pre-financing for jobs to ensure suppliers, staff and subtrades get the best terms for our projects – in turn allowing us to attract and keep the best of the best.
