6 AREAS OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH

1.

GRACE OF GOD

(2 Peter 3:18)

Grace empower us to live the Christian life.

Grace empower us to serve God acceptably.

Grace gives us the power to say No

to temptations and sins.

Our right living depends on grace.

Our Heavenly Father is the God of all

grace. ( 1 Peter 5:10)

Grace is Gods life, righteousness and power

coming to us, undeserving as a gift.

Grace is not a license to commit sin. It is a force

that both pardon us and empower us to live right.

2. REVERENTIAL FEAR

(Fear of the LORD.)

Ecclesiastes 12:13 the whole duty of man is to

fear God.

Deuteronomy 5:29 God desires that we will fear

Him.

Fear of God VS Afraid of God

God will fulfill the desire of our hearts and hear

our prayers. (Psalm 145:19)

Gods protection. (Psalm 34:7)

Gods abundant provision. (Psalm 34:9)

Wealth riches will be in their house.

(Psalm 112:1-3)

Gods great mercy. (Psalm 103:11, 17)

3. OBEDIENCE

Obedience is a test of knowing Him.

(1 John 2:3-5)

Obedience is a proof of love. (John 15:14/ John

14:15 / John 14:23)

Obedience pleases God.

The willing obedient will eat the

fruit of the land. (Isaiah 1:19-20)

John 8:31-32 sets you free

John 14:21 abiding in His word = the Father

and Jesus will dwell in you.

Joshua 1:8 key to success prosperity

Proverbs 4:20-22 health and healing

to your body.

5. THOUGHT LIFE

Romans 12:1-2 renew your mind

Our mind is the main battle ground.

Renewing our mind will lead to knowing the will

of God.

No transformation without mind renewal.

We have the mind of Christ

(1 Corinthians 2:16)

Paul said put off the old mind . . . put on the

mind of Christ.

Set your mind on the things above, not on things

on the earth.(Colossians 3:2)

Philippians 4:8 meditate on these things.

Mind renewal will lead to soul

prosperity.

6. HOLY SPIRIT

Develop intimacy with the Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit reveals God/Jesus to us.

(John 16:7-15)

Fruit gifts of the Spirit

The Spirit of Grace

The power and presence of God.

The Spirit empower us to do greater

things supernaturally.
