At Saint James Catholic Church, we exist to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As we strive to proclaim the gospel, we remain aware and committed to evangelization: living, manifesting and embodying the message of Jesus Christ and of His Church on a diocesan, parish, and personal level. Evangelization relates to everything we do as we respond to a growing and diverse Catholic community. We must reach out to the many alienated and un-churched among us, as well as work for Christian unity through ecumenical/interfaith partnerships. We must work to develop appropriate means to pass on the gift of faith to succeeding generations. Evangelization permeates all of our goals.

Baptisms Baptisms are the first Saturday of every month. The next baptism date is September 5th, spanish baptisms are at 11 a.m. and english baptisms are at 12 p.m. The pre-baptismal class required for parents and godparents is August 29th at 9:30 a.m. given by Lucy Ceciliano in Spanish and Fr. Diocese Bishop Zarama has continued to waive the obliga-tion of the faithful to attend Mass due to health rea-sons and still strongly advises that if you are catego-rized as those of high risk or not feeling well please do not put yourself or others at risk.
