TODAY’S LESSONS
Kaitlyn Lee had surgery Tuesday for thoracic outlet syndrome in St. Louis. Recovery time will be 6 months.
Bill Johnmeyer started a 10 day regimen of radiation on Wednes-day for a spot of cancer on his left femur.
Richard Roberts recently had a biopsy that showed squamous cell carcinoma under his right eye. He will consult with a surgeon on July 15 in Kansas City.
Carol Willis is now recovering at home from back surgery. She is feeling some relief.
Jim and Sue Andrews’ 17 year old great grandson, Austin Andrews, had tests at St. Louis Children’s Hospital Friday.
Jim Farrell made a trip to the ER last week. A bladder stent was in-serted and should be removed this week.
Sherry Austin will have a PET Scan on Monday. Ken Stewart will begin radiation on Monday. He will have treatments
five days a week for five weeks.
Good morning and welcome to Sunset! What a wonderful morning it is to be with our brothers and
sisters as we worship our awesome God. Thank you for being here!
Yesterday was such a special time of fellowship at the Sunset Backyard Picnic! I’m grateful to be part of a congregation that doesn’t only “go to church” together, but genuinely enjoys spending time together outside of our normal meeting times. If you see any-one in our College Ministry or Young Professionals’ Class, be sure to thank them for their hard work in helping put on this event!
Be sure to spread the word that Sunset’s VBS will take place on July 13th with registration beginning at 9am. This one-day event will be for kids 3 years old through the 4th grade. This will definitely be a blessing to our kiddos!
Our sister Leslie Waterworth came forward last Sunday evening asking for prayers concerning her eye. I know many have been praying about Leslie’s situation, and ask that we all continue to go to the Father asking for healing and comfort for Leslie.
I pray everyone has a blessed week as we work for the Lord!

class and fellowship. Thank you parents for making transportation arrangements for your kids. It was a wonderful night to be together.
UNIGHT Tonight @ the Livingston’s – Sunday, July 7th from 5-8pm. No vans. U-night is a themed, youth led devotional night with fellow-ship, food & fun. We will use God’s word to guide and challenge us while being united in our faith and fellowship. There will be team building, icebreakers, group games and more. Remember to sign-up your friends! Supper provided.
