NGNCloudPBX Hospitality Edition- Product overview

Grupo NGN’s hosted PBX solution for the Hospitality vertical eliminates the need for costly on-site PBX

equipment, multiple carrier connections and contracts, and provides hotels with functions that will

allow them to deliver the best guest service at the lowest possible cost. In addition to benefitting hotel

operators & guests, our solution greatly facilitates the work of front desk staff, allowing them to

streamline operations and work more productively on a day-to-day basis. Smaller hotels who do not

already own a full-featured PMS can use the solution’s intuitive built-in PMS tools to manage every

aspect of their property with ease.

Software and components

Our solution is a cloud-based IP-PBX server solution that delivers calls over IP through the customer’s converged voice and data networks. It is a standard-compliant, 100% SIP-based hosted PBX software platform designed to offer enterprise customers a next-generation hosted PBX system that fully meets all their business communications needs. This feature-rich software includes administration, diagnostics & reporting tools, a standalone billing server, voicemail and messaging, an auto-attendant, and a number of advanced corporate PBX features.

Conference Bridge

The license-activated conference bridge option allows administrators and users to create permanent or scheduled conference calls, and to invite specific users or external callers to participate in them. The conference bridge handles multiple meeting rooms, each of which can be reached internally via defined prefix, or externally through a PSTN number defined in the DID pool.

Paging module

The paging module is an announcement application that multicasts IP-Phones that comply with the auto-answer mode. It enables the administrators to create groups that permit users/extensions to direct calls to a group of extensions. The phone Intercom/Auto-answers that are assigned to a specific group extension are employed to make announcement and notifications to group members via voice call.

Park orbit module

The park orbit module provides users with the ability to place a call into a parking orbit for subsequent retrieval from another phone. Users can be notified of parked calls via paging announcements.

Media server

The Media Server is composed of an IVR server with Audio Media Libraries, an Auto-Attendant and a Voicemail server.

Voicemail server

The voicemail server is an IP-based Voice Messaging server that allows for easy integration with MS Exchange, Text-To-Speech and Voice Recognition technologies. It delivers seamless carrier-grade integrated voicemail and messaging service that can contribute to significantly increasing company revenues.

The Voicemail server provides a voicemail repository for each SIP user, integrating email notifications with voicemail attachments.

Auto-attendant

The Auto-attendant automatically greets callers with a pre-recorded messages and routes them to the proper extension according to their input. Routing is based upon menu options that the caller selects by

pressing the appropriate keys on their device or by speaking particular words.

The options presented to callers by the IVR system (e.g. Press 1 for English, press 2 for Spanish) are referred to as auto-attendant options. Platform administrators can configure the options that will be presented to callers by the IVR, as well as the numbers to be associated to each option.

ACD module (automatic call distribution)

The ACD module manages heavy incoming call volumes in queues and employs a dynamic call transfer distribution process based on three basic priority policies.

• First Idle Extension: Incoming calls are routed to the user extension with the highest priority

weight. If the first extension is busy, the call goes to the user extension with the second-highest priority.

• Most Idle Extension: Incoming calls are routed to the user extension that has been idle for the longest period of time. This policy is designed to ensure balanced workloads for employees.

• Circular Call Transfer: Incoming calls are routed to the dialed extension and continue once – in a

circular sequence - through every extension belonging to the group.

Billing module

The billing server allows administrators to generate guest accounts and to monitor call logs, live data and pending calls in real time. The billing module’s cost & statistics component generates comprehensive report logs such as completed/failed calls and cost versus sales. The platform is capable of managing a wide range of billing account types, providing hotel owners with limitless business opportunities and a significant potential for growth.

Our solution offers reliable, hassle-free hosted PBX services to hotel operators of all sizes, who in turn save on the expenses of running their own in-house PBX phone systems. Our platform features a SOAP XML API interface that adds a significant degree of flexibility in terms of integration with clients’ existing application servers. The Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) interface provided allows clients to write in different programming languages such as Java, .NET, Perl etc.

PMS integration

Our solution has been designed for seamless integration and superior performance with the hospitality industry’s leading PMS platforms. The platform can rapidly integrate into most hotel & resort environments. During the configuration process, we work closely with hotel management and staff to ensure that new and existing features work in a complementary fashion.

Polycom VVX Expansion Module

The Polycom VVX Expansion Module is a sidecar expansion module for the Polycom VVX Business Media Phones. You can add up to 3 VVX Expansion Modules to give you 90 additional keys helping turning your VVX phone into a busy front desk phone capable of handling multiple lines, call appearances, speed dials or BLF keys.

The VVX expansion module will be equipped alongside the VVX 400 IP phone for the front desk attendants.

Plantronics CS510

Designed to connect to your desk phone, the CS510 sports a sleek, lightweight design and has been comfort-tested. One- touch controls on the headset allow you to answer or end calls and adjust or mute the volume. The system also enables you to conference in up to three additional headsets for easier collaboration. The headset offers up to nine hours of talk time and is designed to be worn over-the-head.

The Mediatrix 4124 SIP is a professional cost-efficient VoIP gateway that connects large organizations and multi-tenant buildings to an IP network. The Mediatrix 4124 connects up to 24 analog phones and/or faxes.

Mediatrix 3631 VoIP Gateway

The Mediatrix 3600 Series VoIP gateway makes use of existing broadband access equipment to connect to any standards- based VoIP network. It is the ideal solution for organizations that want to connect their ISDN equipment, such as PBXs, through a T1/E1 PRI interface to an IP network or as a gateway to the PSTN.

Mediatrix C733 VoIP Gateway

The Mediatrix C733's 8 FXO ports allow you to connect your VoIP system to the PSTN. Once connected to the PSTN, you can use the PSTN as your primary connection method for making calls, as a fallback in case you lose your broadband connection, or for local calling.
