CONCRETE
MIX DESIGN
Ready-mixed
supplier must
provide
necessary
specification.
The
mix
design
require
25mpa
free
of
deleterious
materials,
slump
not
exceeding
l00mm,
retarder
and
water-reducing
admixture must not
contain
calcium
chloride.

After trowel with
bull
float
on
the fresh
powed
concrete,
if
there
are
bleeding of
water
ou
surfbce,
wait
a
while
and
trowel
again with bull
float.
The
broadcast
of Colour
Hardener is
applied
evenly by
dry
shake
method.
The first
shake of
materials is about
2/3
oftotal
materials;
the
remaining materials
are used
for 2od
application
and
floating.
The
shake
shall
be
applied by
hand
allowing
the
material
to
sift
through
tle
fingers
while moving
the
hand
to
obtain
a
uniformly
thick
application of
the
surface.
The
application of
Release
Agent is
on
the concrete
where
it reach
plastic
stage,
no more
trowel
is
allow at this stage.
The
placing
of
hnprint
Mould
is
start after
broadcasting of Colour
Releaser. At this stage,
the
imprint
process
is
soft
at the
beginning as
time
and
climate will
differ
the
surface
hardness. The Imprint
process
must
be
handle
by
Expert workers
so that a
good
job
can be
attained.
Upon
completion,
recheck the
work,
any
touch
up
required
must be
done
at
this
stage.
Then
plastic
sheet
is
cover
for
protection
of
rainfall.
The
concrete
is left
to set
for
1 to
3
days.
WASH
& SEAL
After
3-5
days,
washing
of excessive
ColourReleser
shall
be clean
using
water
hose.
In
5-7
days,
the surface
shall
be clean with
high
pressure
cleaner,
mild
acid
is
applied for colour
fast
purpose.
After
washing, when
the
surface
is
complete
during apply I
coat
of GS
Sealer.
For
big
project, washing
and sealing
can be
wait
till
last
stage
(before
handling over).
PROTECTION
The
finished
floor
shall be
protected.
Any heavy
traffic
shall
be
avoided
for
28
days.
(The
main contractor
shall
take
nscessary
steps to
protect
the
finished floor from
damage
by
other tlades).
