Division-Specific Arrival & DismissalReminders
As we begin the second week of school, please review thearrival and dismissal guidelines for each division. Pleasecontact the Division Heads with any questions.
Preschool Arrival Early care will be available starting at 7 a.m. Students willgather in the morning care room where social distancing will bemaintained. At 7:35 a.m., teachers will escort students to theirclassrooms. Morning carpool will start at 7:45 a.m. Uponarrival, students will undergo temperature checks to verify theyare not running a fever of 100.4°F or higher. In addition, afaculty member will verify that each student has a completed
screening form upon arrival.
Preschool families are asked to adhere to the following staggered arrival schedule:
7:45 a.m. JK8 a.m. PK8:15 a.m. LL
Preschool DismissalAfternoon carpool will start at 1:45 p.m. Teachers will use walkie-talkies when dismissing children.Teachers will individually walk out of the classroom to someone standing at the door, who will then helpguide children to their car.
Preschool families are asked to adhere to the following staggered pick-up schedule:
1:45 p.m. JK 2 p.m. PK 2:15 p.m. LL
Lower School Arrival Upon arrival, Lower School students will undergo temperature checks to verify they are not running afever of 100.4°F or higher. In addition, a faculty member will verify that each student has a completedscreening form upon arrival. Students arriving between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. will report to the AnchorCafeteria where they will undergo temperature checks and have screening forms verified. At 7:35 a.m.,an adult will escort the students to their classrooms. Beginning at 7:35 a.m., students may be dropped offin Circle Drive at one of three orange cones. Families are asked to adhere to the following staggeredarrival schedule: 7:35 a.m. SK & 1st grade 7:45 a.m. 2nd grade & 3rd grade 7:55 4th grade
Lower School Families are asked to adhere to the following staggered arrival schedule:

Lower School Dismissal Lower School dismissal will begin at 2:45 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
On Wednesday, Lower School dismissal will begin at 2:15 p.m.
Middle School Arrival Upon arrival, Middle School students will undergo temperature checks to verify they are not running afever of 100.4°F or higher. In addition, a faculty member will verify that each student has a completedscreening form upon arrival. Students arriving between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. will report to the AnchorCafeteria where they will undergo temperature checks and have screening forms verified. At 7:35 a.m.,student will be released to go to their advisories. Beginning at 7:35 a.m., students may be dropped off onLemaster at one of three check-in stations as designated by orange cones: in front of the sloping rampentrance by the elevators, in front of the stairs at the main middle school entrance, and in front of the 5thgrade entrance.

Pop-Up Spirit Wear Sale:Saturday, August 29, 3-5 p.m.
The Parents' Association (P.A.) Spirit Wear Committeeis hosting an outdoor Pop-Up Spirit Wear Sale thisSaturday in the Lower School Circle Drive from 3-5p.m. Everyone who attends must wear a mask and observethe 6-feet physical distancing recommendations. Join us to find the perfect GSL gear for your Luker andyourself! "Spirit Wear" is sold to help parents,students and staff show their pride in our school,and is also a fundraiser for the P.A. The P.A. helps raisefunds to support many needed things for the entire GSLcommunity that are not in the budget. We will accept checks payable to GSL P.A. or credit cards for payment (Amex, Mastercard & Visa). We will have the approved outerwear uniform fleece and sweatshirts available. If you are unable toattend, you may purchase the outerwear uniform items online here. Outerwear items purchased onlinewill be delivered to your child’s classroom to bring home. Spirit Wear items come in a variety of sizes. We have merchandise for toddlers, little kids, big kids, andparents! Some styles and sizes might be limited, so be sure to load up on your gear before they aregone!
