Summary • The GFDex air-sea data set is obtained in high wind

speed, cold-air outbreak conditions• Aircraft measurements from 30-50 m above the sea• 131 flux runs over open water

• U10N: 5-25 m/s

• Wind stress: 0.2-1.9 Nm-2

• Total heat flux: 100-600 Wm-2

• The mean exchange coefficients , U10N : 15-19 m/s

– CDN = 2.04 x 10-3

– CHN = 1.63 x 10-3

– CEN = 1.57 x 10-3
