My daughter Katelyn has been swimming the GSSC for 6 years and this is her 4th year of competitive swim- ming - she truly cannot get enough of this sport. It is so nice to see the friendships she has built through the club over the years. I have really enjoyed my executive positions covering communications and events and now being Registrar. My main job is registering the Club and its members with Synchro Ontario. In addition, I register the athletes for the various synchro com- petitions throughout the season. As the season moves for- ward, I look forward to hearing how all of our athletes succeed in their competitions. Congratulations GSSC Swimmers!!! Your fabulous efforts raised $1240 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation! This money will be very helpful to those who are dealing with Breast Cancer...you should be very proud of your contribution into making life better! Thank you again to Dr. Martin Bosch, volunteer with the Ontario Trillium Foundation, MPP Liz Sandals and Mayor Karen Farbridge for joining our Burning Bright event! We appreciate your support and kind words!
