a message from our president
Welcome everyone to our new year at Territorial Charter. I'm ex-cited to start this year with our new board and committee chairs.
We promise to bring you all a lot of fun, laughter and education. Be ready to learn more
about ABWA. Our program this month is "ABWA in a Nutshell". We will be highlighting The Community Connection, Networking and our very own Mary Ellerman will be giving us a presentation on what is happening with National ABWA.
I want to thank Mary Ellerman , our National District VI ,VP for all she has done for our chapter this year. She has been traveling all over the US and has repre-sented us well. It is an honor to have a member rep-resent us at the national level.
I know its still hot out but we will be starting our Fall Membership Campaign in September. Be thinking of who you will be inviting to our meetings.
National conference is coming up in October, this year we will be in Chattanooga, TN. Ask a board member for information on attending.
Please mark your calendars for Oct., Nov., and Dec. meetings. We will be moving the meeting dates up a week due to National conference and the holidays.
Get on board to Chattanooga, Choo Choo!!!

IMPORTANT!!
Fellow ABWA Members! It is very important that you RSVP for meetings. We want
to ensure that enough food is ordered and place settings are set up. We do con-
sider walk in guests due to the newspaper invitation but it is much appreciated that
members RSVP. Remember that you may cancel your meeting RSVPs until Monday
morning (the day before our monthly meeting). Also, please remember that when
you do not attend a meeting to which you’ve RSVP’d, our chapter must still pay for
that meal and you are responsible for reimbursing the chapter for that expense. If
you have missed a recent meeting, please contact our chapter Treasurer, Brooke
Adams-Ferguson and arrange to mail in your payment. Thank you!
